My Post Disappeared!

I think my post here was probably deleted because it was a cross-post with the Flooring forum. I posted here, too, because it's the primary place I check in and because it seems to be a busier forum and may generate more responses. I'm really anxious to get some responses to my questions about installing hardwood floors, so if anyone has the time, would you please go over there and let me know what you think. (My original post was sort of rambling, and I apologize in advance for that.) I'm including a link that, I hope, will take you to my post. Thanks!

I found your post by using the search on the bottom of the first page. Without your email being enabled on GW, you wont receive notices when members post replies to your thread. I bumped your OP up to the top of page 1 for you so you can see the replies. Good luck!

I just received a message from Al today saying that he is in fact banned from GW. If you can think of anything positive to mention in this bid to get Al reinstated at GW. Where Is Al ? would you consider adding your voice?

What version of MSE ? search 'manually uninstall security essentials. You need to try to remove it as properly as possible it if you install another anti-virus brand for sure. Think I would just remove MSE then reinstall it. BUT... it sounds like you both have some identical problem with it not showing up in both add/remove's. Often times a virus will disable your anti-virus program, SCan Scan SCAN!!!! or it maybe is another program you have installed conflicts. Have you looked around in Event Viewer .. it may tell you the problem.

My Google advanced search shows only 20 new posts in the last 24 hours. It typically shows 90 or so. There must be something going awry.

I saw your post this morning, and now I can't find it--was going to comment. I am so sorry you're getting this kind of "welcome back" from Houzz. I only post 3 or 4 photos at a time, and I try to not have any text with the photos. If I get the dratted window telling me something went wrong, I ignore it. Then back click to the roses threads, then forward back onto the thread I was posting on. My photos always magically are there, in spite of their ridiculous "something went wrong window". It's crazy.
