Chris, I think the colors in your granite go with the F&I, but overall your stone is more dramatic and darker than mine. The F&I is a wow backsplash, and if you put it on every wall, I think it may be too much with your stone. I would put it only on the range wall. On the other walls, I would put a larger-scale tile in a complementary quartzite that picks up the lighter color in the F&I-- maybe look at the boading creme from Tile Shop. There are also some great quartzite random brick tiles on the Tile Shop web site for less $ than Fire and Ice, and that would be easier to coordinate with their other offerings. So many great ideas. I do love that 3rd pic of Boxer's. It's pretty icy which I thought I didn't want but it kind of sparkles but without beings crazy busy. I was looking at safer taupes with a mix of cool and warm but my cabs are oozing with warmth so an icy cool bossy backsplash might suit my space. DH did an about face this afternoon. He admitted he didn't care for the peach, which I don't either, and said if i added more of the replacement glass and even a darker glass (my plan) it would be ok. I said ARE YOU CRAZY? No way I'm doing this now. I don't want to 'get my way' knowing he hates it. Told him I'm not being stubborn but as much as I wish he didn't care about any of it I can't do something he doesn't care for at all. Please don't tell him this but after more consideration maybe he's right... maybe, just maybe I would tire of the F&I faster than other choices. I don't know I question everything now even more than before. If I tire of the F&I years from now I could never admit it; I'd have to bite my tongue! Like I said, don't tell him any of this ;) Poohpup your DH might be an even trickier situation if you're not certain what he will potentially loathe! Mine did take some pics at a big box today that we're lovely but more tumbled travertine and slate type. I like all those just maybe not for this space. Fouramblues I looked at the pic you just posted. I really like that as well. I'm starting to feel a little better overall. So now I have some homework to do tonight. I'm going to find the silvery stuff and look at morepics as well as that line of Ann Sacks and the Complete Tile and any others mentioned here. Sonoma Tile has some beautiful choices as well and the fact theyre made within about an hour from here is a pretty cool thought. I've got homework to do while DH watches Sunday night shows I hate. buehl: I also got really high prices locally. The best I found was $21/sq ft which included freight. That was contractor's pricing. I had two quotes at $28/sq ft!! So I gave up on buying it locally and used the sources that other GWers provided. And I don't have to pay sales tax, either. I would much prefer to buy it locally, but jeez, it's just way too expensive. When I do the 'store locator' thing on the Jeffrey Court website, I get the Florida Tile warehouse here in Denver. I called them, and they gave me a long list of local retailers. It seems in Denver, at least, the pricing is set by Florida Tile. My GC has an account with Florida Tile and he was given the $28 price (no discount) because it's a special order. He told me to buy it online.

buehl and kristine_2009: The yellow looking ones at glasstileoasis are more copper in real life, as I said in my post with the pictures. I just ordered 2 sheets last week - they are copper colored. I can take pictures of the full sheets if you'd like. Or you could order the samples for $5. Trust me, they are copper. I bought some of Moniqua's rootbeer moderntilestudio tiles and they look identical to me. Kristine_2009: Moniqua bought the 11 sheets from moderntilestudio and didn't have any trouble selling them to fellow GWers. They are definitely cheaper than the glasstileoasis ones (glasstileoasis shipping is pretty expensive).
