So glad you asked, colorlady, because this has been on my mind, too. Your post prompted me to call Moen. Ryan told me that Brantford is available, and Arbor with Reflex shipped in June. He said that doesn't mean any particular supplier will have it, but they are being sent from Moen. So keep trying! Three other models will be coming out through July, with Aberdeen scheduled for Aug 1.

I'm calling my supplier today and telling them to get an Arbor with Reflex and put my name on it.

He also told me that the quality on the big box models vs the plumbing supply models is exactly the same. I was surprised at that.

Thanks so much for responding Ginny. This is very different information than I received. No one at Moen mentioned Arbor. Those that carried Moen told me they have tons of backorders for the Brantford w/Reflex. But you have inspired me to not give up because I just came back from Lowes where I stared at faucets for yet another hour and hated all of them. I am without a kitchen sink. Washing dishes in the bathroom. Not fun.

I ordered the Brandtford two weeks ago from my local plumbing supplier and was quoted one week delivery. It arrived last week at their warehouse and is scheduled to be delivered to my house tomorrow morning.

OTOH, the RO system I ordered to coordinate is backordered until September. sigh... I questioned closely to make sure which one was backordered, but I've been assured the main faucet is here. I'll know tomorrow.

Did you try calling that place in CT whose phone number is in that older thread? That's what I'm going to do if my suppliers can't come through. Of course, they might be backordered there, too. worth a try.

Hi colorlady - I just posted on that old thread. I'm in RI and 2 trusted local plumbing supply houses as well as my plumber for 30+ years do not like that Moen. They have all said there is a reason with production problems. Too bad for me because I was all set to jump on this for the price and also wanted it in the worst way :(. Other mfgs are way out of my price range. I went with the Kohler Vinnata (same technology different name) b/c I too cannot live (well I could but I would be very grumpy) without a functioning kitchen sink until they get it right. Just my 0.02 from very trusted sources.

I am waiting on my Brantford as well. I told my GC that was the faucet I wanted and I haven't heard about any issues getting it. Hopefully the right faucet shows up in my kitchen or I'm not going to be happy.

I just updated on the older thread, but wanted to add that I spoke to New Shepard this past Thursday and my faucet with Reflex is in waiting for me to pick it up when all my other pieces are in (I think I'm just waiting for the pot filler). I must admit that I was very hesitant to purchase a Moen at first. I've never owned one and wasn't sure about their quality, and had been planning to get a Hansgrohe faucet that I've liked for a while now. But a person I've dealt with a couple of times before at New Shepard convinced me that it was a great faucet at a great price, and that the Moen customer service department was excellent. I also asked our plumber and he said that he hasn't had any bad experiences with them and that their internal pieces were what he would expect for a quality faucet. So, I took a chance. I'll report back on my personal experience with it, but that won't be for at least a few weeks yet! HTH!

I have my Moen Arbor with Reflex sitting here now (near Louisville) ready for install in just a few days!

I want the Brandtford too--but I have a question. Was planning to go with the stainless, to match our stainless sink, but on my monitor the stainless had a distinctly yellow sheen. Has anyone seen it in person? If it really has a yellow cast, I'd be inclined to get the chrome. Thanks!

Just wanted to report back that I picked up my Moen Arbor with Reflex technology yesterday. Granite should be installed next week, not sure how long for faucets and sinks after that. I'll report back on my experience with it as soon as I can!

For what it's worth, when I picked up my faucets the guy at the counter told me that he's been hearing great things about them. Then a plumber that was there said how some of his clients have had trouble with Moens properly docking in the past and he called one that he's kept in touch with to let them know about the new technology and they swapped it out and have been raving about it. So, hopefully it will live up to expectations!!!!

Has anyone gotten a brantford model yet? I talked to my local plumbing supplier and he still doesnt have any in his store, but there is a display about an hour away...not sure if they have any of the faucets in stock though. They did call their moen rep and he said that all arbor and brantford are now shipping with Reflex...so Im going to see which is available quickest. So glad to hear that the response has been good to the changes. I did want to see one first, but that has really been difficult...and the big box stores have no clue what I am asking about...still!!

ERINCT...where did you get your Arbor with Reflex Technology? I have been told it is available, but have not been able to get it from the local distributor. The Moen customer service says it is available at LOWES!? IF YOU SEE THIS, Would love to know

Swisscook, I got my Arbor with Reflex from VP Supply in Rochester, NY. It has been in my garage for almost a month now. Your distributor should be able to get it. If you can get one at Lowes, a Moen rep told me that the Moens at Lowes are the same as the Moens at plumbing suppliers, so go for it.

swisscook: I purchased mine from New Shepard Supply Co. in Vernon, CT (860-875-2545). We're STILL waiting to have them installed but I'll post back as soon as it is to report back on how it works!

My Arbor with Reflex was installed today! So far, so good. It doesn't have so much tension on it that you're fighting it, and it just sort of eases itself back into place. I like it. The real test will be tomorrow when I wash the dog's feet and undercarriage after our walk.

based on recommendations for the 'reflex' technology on the moen, we got the arbor model (#7594csl) we had to double check that it was the new 'reflex' model-- as the catalogue listed it as 'in transition.' the moen website only lists it for the 'brantford' model-- so we were unsure that ours would be correct.

all went well-- we got the faucet and it said "reflex pulldown system" on the box.

bottom line-- we LOVE this faucet. i have never had a faucet with a smoother pulling action. both up and down. it seems perfectly weighted. i like the pause feature a lot-- especially when washing the dog. (we have a shitzu/yorkie mix... she easily fits in the sink... but am loving the pause (not paws) for rinsing her head. spoiled little furball!)

so far, we really love this faucet. thanks to gardenwebbers for pointing us to this... we were lost in the land of faucets but mostly wanted one with an easy return. victory!
