I have the Delta Addison and love it. I purchased it through a kitchen and bath showroom so I am not sure if the big boxes sell that particular one. However, I did not get the one with Touch technology. I heard of people not happy with it because it was too sensitive so I opted not to get that feature.

I agree Hestia_Flame, that's the exact same feeling I got! I also have the Vinnata and love it! It works very smoothly, yes you have to guide the head back to its mount, but I'm glad of that. There are times when I want the faucet to hang down, not pop up. I also like the fact that the head can be mounted in any position, not just the "normal" position (I'm the one who posted all those "odd angle" mountings of the Vinatta head!) What I'm saying is that I like the fact that I have control over how it works...up/down, direction, etc. As to the red & blue notations, no there are no notations. Since the handle can be mounted on the left, right, or in the front, there's no way to put any kind of indicator on either the handle or the stem. If it's installed on the side (right or left), the water hookups should be hot water when you push it away from you, cold water when you pull it toward you. If it's installed in the front, hot should be to the left, cold to the right. In any case, on/off/volume control is pull/push away from the faucet stem. I also have a very large double bowl sink (~33") and it reaches every part of even the large bowl (b/c of the angle mounting) and easily swivels b/w the bowls. If you have very hard water, think about it before you purchase a dark colored faucet. No matter what you do, you will eventually get hard water "stains"...and they are usually white or light in color. So, do you want a dark faucet that will really "showcase" those "stains"? If, OTOH, your "stains" are dark, then go ahead with a dark faucet. Good luck!

Just an observation to perhaps broaden your perspective. My house is 1940 traditional house and i started to tire of the traditional choices. I have very traditional cabinets but went with more sleek faucets (in chrome to add some bling) and definitely modern lighting. The hardware is stainless steel (satin) color and looks great with chrome. The bad thing about chrome is that it is harder to keep sparkling. Stainless stell is better for cleaning but expensive. If you go chrome, under $500 leaves many choices. Stainless will be tougher. The 2 brands i focused on were grohe and kohler although delta is a good product as well and less expensive. Satin nickel is more yellowing while stainless steel is more blue - but varies by manufacturer.

For a year I've had a Moen single handle pulldown with Reflex technology. Reflex was new in 2011, so maybe all the Moen pulldowns have it by now. I love my faucet. I love the convenience of the single handle and incorporated spray head, and I especially love how easy it is to clean around only one hole in the counter. It does have a spray-hold button. It reseats itself very well - that's what the Reflex is for. Moen has a good reputation for honoring its warranty and providing parts, although I have not needed to use this service.
