180-degree hinge

I know there are cabinet makers and DIYers out there -- I have a question for you or possibly just someone who'se already figured this out.

I have two tall upper cabinets with 180-degree hinges, 3 of them. But they have a very marked impedance to closing at about 3" away from closed - both of them. However not so for another cabinet I have with just 2 180-degree hinges. That one, however, also has a larger door - the tall ones with the problem are narrow.

I asked the cab guys about it and they said they thought it was variously because of the width of the door and that there were three hinges ... I don't quite buy it though. I'm pretty sure the 'hump' was there with just two hinges (they didn't order enough at first), and while they claim that 'hump' is there on the 2-hinge door I just don't feel it.

I think there's something else going on, something that's likely easily adjustable, only I just don't know what it would be.

Any ideas anyone please?

Many thanks!!
