Granite yard in Houston?
Comments (6)My builder likes Traditional Designs. They carry the traditional granite colors but can get slabs from other granite suppliers. Colours http://www.coloursgranite.com/ GME http://www.granitemarbleetc.com/about_us.html Avanti http://www.avantistones.com/home.htm Midwest Stone Quarry http://stonequarrytx.com/index.html Dal Tile (indoor showroom) Walker Zanger Stone Marketing http://www.stonemarketingintl.com/Default.aspx Trimex Arizona IGM - http://www.igmcorp.com/index.html Lackstone There are a ton of places along Hempstead Highway. I personally think that Colors and GME have large selections....See MoreBuilding prices per sq. ft. around Houston TX))
Comments (1)well, it honestly depends on WHAT you are building. the market bases price per sq ft on the heated/cooled sq ft, but certainly you will have costs associated with everything from teh driveway to the landscaping. if you are building just a modest house with nothing fancy, then your sq ft costs can be surprisingly low. but if you are building a mansion then they can be high-VERY high. around here(MS Delta region) the avg cost is under 40.00 a sq ft for an AVERAGE home. there are homes here that cost 200.00 a sq ft as well. keep in mind that the price per sq ft is based on EVERYTHING. so if you have a 2000 sq ft house and put in 20,000.00 worth of marble/granite, you just added 10.00 per sq ft to the cost. get on the MLS site for your area and see what similar fairly new homes with similar amenities and locations are listign for. that will give you a high end of expected cost. of course, foreclosed/bank owned properties skew that a little as they MAY be cheaper than normal....See Morerecommendations for granite fabricators/installers in houston
Comments (11)I met Tommy Schlitzberger at a Home Improvement show and also happened to run into him once when we were at a granite yard. Both times he impressed me as really knowing his stuff, plus very friendly and nice. I would have definitely hired him if I'd been doing the hiring. What I did though, was hire a general contractor who did all the work A to Z. He hired Hollywood Builders to do our granite. The did a great job and in fact I hired them to do a couple of other smaller granite jobs in my house later. So I can recommend them as well. I can't really say how they compare in price because I never got any pricing from Schlitzberger. But I considered Hollywood's price on the things they did directly for me to be reasonable....See MoreNew Pool Build in Beautiful Setting NW Houston, TX
Comments (33)Can highly recommend Best Backyard Pools of Houston for anyone considering a pool builder in Houston. Not only did Kathy do a great job building the pool in an amazing time frame, 20 days from first dig to water in the pool, her response time to resolve post completion issues has been equally impressive. I have had a few issues come up, none of which were Kathy's fault but she responded immediately by phone or email and had the necessary tradespeople out within a day to resolve the problem, fantastic service....See Moretexaskitchentoo
