Oven / microwave layout question

Hi, new member here. I am planning to redo my (blue) kitchen this summer and I'm driving myself insane over appliance placement. I used to be decisive and now I change my mind every five minutes!

I currently have a Kitchenaid Superba oven / micro combination wall oven which works well for me. I'm a pretty basic cook and have never felt the need for double ovens. However, I'm intrigued with the idea of getting the best of both worlds by putting in one of the new microwave / convection combination units along with a single oven.

I'm curious about the pros and cons of having the microwave/conv unit stacked on top of the wall oven (either a combined unit or two pieces installed one on top of the other), vs separate locations in the kitchen. If I separate them, the microwave would be placed in a pantry wall with drawers below and pullouts above, and the wall oven would be on an adjacent wall.

Any thoughts about the pros and cons of having them together vs separate?

Thanks for any help you can provide,

Anita
