Hi.. I had this problem at the beginning too. Go to photobucket and copy html code under the picture that you want. Then paste it on your post. Let me know if you need more help.

Paint. You already have an accent wall. If you do paper, make sure you prep the wall very well so that it's not a huge PIA when you get sick of it (you will) or when the new owners want to remove it (they will).

Pretty room.
Have you thought about brown paint for the entire room? It's would make the room very dramatic and soothing.

I think the accent wall would work better behind the bed. JMHO

You can use paper and paint the other walls brown. There are so many pretty wall papers out there.

Either way, you can't lose.

Jerseygirl-Funny you mention the accent wall behind the headboard...I agree! We actually had a queen size bed that was placed between the 2 windows...and did the accent wall in brown behind.

However, we recently bought king size and the bed with nightstands no longer fit on the window wall. Bed had to move to the 'long' wall. Painting the room is a must. (I made a mistake in the upholstered headboard...I wanted more off white/ivory than beige/oatmeal colour...)

Other idea I'm thinking of is to paint all walls the same colour and then installing wainscotting. I do like the brown, but I'm used to living with softer colours and might find all walls painted brown too oppressive for me...thus wondering if I should go with a creamy beige or a blue/gray)

Do you think wainscotting would be ok with the style of this room? I honestly wish I could start over again!

Wainscotting a pretty broad term. If your talking about the cottagey type, I would say no way. If your talking about the type that looks like picture frames, I would say yes but you really don't need it.

I like the wall to wall drapes. I am thinking about doing the same when it's time.

lisa_mocha, I really like your room. I wouldn't wallpaper either. If you live there long enough, you will want it down. I don't know what you want, but a simple faux would give a lot of dimension to the walls and you could paint over if you didn't like it later. But I like your room just the way it is.

Can I ask, what are the dimensions & what does the other end look like?
