Just waiting

I am a healthy 50 years young with plans to marry the women of my dreams. We plan to marry when the last of her 3 children leaves the nest. We have been seeing one another for 6 years. The child I speak of is the last to leave. She is almost 23 and has no immediate plans to move. She quit college 14 months short of graduating. She has been working at a package store since and has not saved a penny. She had a phone in her room under her name. It has recently been disconnected due to non-payment She parties every night and comes home only to sleep, shower and eat. Some times she comes home from work but rather than help out with chores she will sit and watch TV until around 8 or 9pm then itÂs back out to party. Is this normal? I suggested to her mother that she charge her a reasonable weekly rent and bank it if for her. Then at least she would be accumulating money towards her own apartment. Her mother does not think that is a good idea because none of her friends do that. The days she is off the SD sleeps till 12 or 1pm then she will watch TV until its time to go out with her friends again. Her mother is handicapped and is pretty much dependent on crutches or her wheelchair to get around. Due to her condition the chores are mostly my responsibility. The SD will put a load of wash in from time to time but does not help with the chores at all. I am not complaining the mother is such a wonderful women it is a labor of love. Neither one of us want to marry under the current circumstances. I gave her a diamond 2 years ago but I fear we might go to the grave before the SD decides to move. Because we do not live together I maintain both houses. The only job she has been asked to do is bring out rubbish once a week. I donÂt think she has done that more than 4 or 5 times this year. If I donÂt bring them out the mother will drag the barrels from the garage to the street. Well I guess that pretty much paints the picture. I guess its just sit and wait!

Enjoy your day,
