Steve is a stepfather who lost his DD (SD he raised) to her biofather's partying lifestyle. He has been quite saddened and is searching for answers. He goes by Hamsteve and he and his wife are heartbroken as their DD will not return their calls, etc.

Thanks I will keep an eye out. By the way, I am pretty ignorant about webspeak. For instance. DD. Does that mean Dear Daughter? I wish I could find a reference for all of the abbreviations. It would save me time and confusion :)

Susan, rather than try to put them here I would suggest you google "forum abbreviations". Look at the different ones to find the ones that correspond with what you need. Gayle

DS = Dear Son

SS = Step Son

DS9, SS9, for example is son or stepson age 9

DD, SD Dear daugher, step daughter, again if a number follows it that is the age

SM, SF = step mom, step dad

BM = biological mom

CS = child support
