Grandpa agrees!!!

I posted about bm's moms e-mail to sd that defended bm and made sd feel bad. Well dh did send an e-mail to grandparents explaining our side of the situation and how it hurts sd's feelings when her bm lies and does not call, etc.

Its been a while and we were thinking we would never hear back from them...until today when we read a reply written by bm's father!

Bm's father basically wrote my dh an apology e-mail saying he is sorry for his daughters behavior and his wife co-signing his daughters nonsense! He said he is extremely disappointed in his daughter for the way she does not take care of her children and he thanks god that the kids have my dh. He says that he is on his daughters case a lot about the kids and then she gets upset and does not talk to him for a while. He said he thinks that her way of dealing with it is to pretend it is not happening, so that is why he thinks she rarely calls. He said that he is aware that she lies to him and her mom about calling the kids and never getting a return call and he almost wishes that he did not know that she was lying. He said she always has so much drama in her life these days and he has no idea what possessed her to end the marriage and life she had with her children and dh for the piece of sh** she has now! Those were his words! He also said that he was upset when she decided to leave our state and move so far away from her kids.

He apologized for his wifes behavior and said that his wife does not want to belive how their daughter has turned out. He also thanked my dh for allowing them to visit the kids when they come out here soon and said they would take care of getting the oldest to/from practice.

And then he ended the letter saying that he wants dh to know that he and his wife will always be in the childrens lives and they love the kids very much.

Needless to say we were shocked and happy that someone acknowledges how much we do and how little she does!
