Need some help, please!

Hi everyone,

I'm in a pickle and don't know what to do about it and could use some great advice.

My ex and I have 2 children, he gets them every other weekend, every Thursday, and pays his child support on time. However, he sometimes doesn't make the best decisions. We've had a rocky road--he didn't communicate with me at all for 2 years. Then he began talking to me, then one little thing set him off, and he stopped. He's a hot head. Then, out of the blue, he began communicating. Not talking face to face, but he'd text me or email and it is very civil. I'm fine with that. As long as he's good to the children, I have no issues. This weekend, though, he decided it was a good idea to take our children, ages 7 & 8, to see The Dark Knight. Mind you, my son is very phobic and has nightmares about imaginary things. My son also told me that he had to go out to the lobby because he got so scared. The movie is rated PG-13 and I've read the reviews that it's a heavy PG-13 and absolutely not for kids.

At my house, I'm very picky about what my children watch. We don't have cable because we feel there's too much smut that they could see. I hardly let them watch PG rated movies unless I read the reviews to see why it's rated that.

What's done is done, I know that. I feel I need to address it with him, but at the same time, we've had such a hard time that I don't want to ruin the communication we've finally begun having. And I know there's really nothing I can do now, it's done. What do you all think? Let it go or address it? Thank you.
