Hi there. New to posting on a forum but I need advice! We are building a cottage/house in a rural area with no homes around. It's a single story ranch/bungalow. Darker homes are prevalent in the area and I am thinking of going with a black wood siding with a natural grey stone skirting. Window colour is tricky. I've seen some with white and white wood trim around them but it is too "Cape Cod" looking for me. The colour I'm looking at for windows is called Rustic from Kolbe windows and is a taupe/brown colour that changes depending on what is near it. Another option would be Timberwolf, a grey with blue undertones that I'm afraid would not be natural enough and look to stark against the black. Roofing will be shingles in Driftwood. It's a grey-black-brown mix. Thanks.
