I bought a craft robo cutter (also sold under the name "sillouette")at work to cut vinyl letters to make signs. I can not only use any font, but a friend drew a graphic for me to use as my logo at a craft fair, and the robo cutter could cut that! It connects to my computer, so she emailed me a jpg, the cr software converted it to a cut file and it cut it! I notice the place I got it, uscutters, doesn't sell this "craft style" one any more, just bigger more powerful (more expensive) cutters. Although I love the robo cutter I'm not sure I'd recommend it because the software is a little rough around the edges and in fact didn't install correctly I had to call support. They were able to fix it however. AND I have saved a lot of money by cutting our own vinyl letters. It is very expensive to get a custom cut from a printer. I'd be interested in knowing what you decide on Grandma Bonnie. I couldn't get the CR to work when I got a new computer with windows 7 and I tried to install the soft ware to it, so I have my old computer attached to it. This works ok since I was going to keep the old one set up in the other room anyway, but down the road I'll probably have 2 computers with windows 7 so its not ideal. I guess I could try to get them to help me again since it is clearly something wrong in the installation. The fancy ones cut chipboard! I wish I could justify that for our business but I really don't need that capacity there. Kathy

I watched the video the other night and then watched a bunch more for older women. I'm 52 and don't wear makeup much at all. Especially at work. I quit wanting to take all that time fixing my face every morning. I already had to get up so early and didn't get home till late....so I stopped. It'd been a couple, 3 or 4 years? since I had worn makeup at work and then I wore it a couple months ago. People were coming up to me and making comments about me wearing makeup. I really didn't like the attention. No one said I should do it more often or that it looked good, just exclaimed that I was wearing it. That kind of freaked me out and I haven't worn it since. Then I watched those videos and I wore some last night when Lauren and I went out to eat. ( She's home on spring break.) Then today I bought some nude shade of lipstick and some face cream since after putting on the foundation last night I could see every wrinkle in my face. The mascera was bugging the crap out of me, though. i finally washed my face so I could get rid of that. If I get up early enough tomorrow I may put some makeup on.

Our eating habits have changed quite a bit in the last few years. I don’t cook in the quantity I used to and now if we have a steak it’s just with a salad or baked potato but not both like we used to. We don’t eat red meat as much mostly stick to chicken and sea food or sometimes just a couple of different vegetables. Hardly ever have any sweets but DH still likes his cookies and I still love a dish of ice cream. This summer we have just about lived on sandwiches I still make bread every 2 weeks. In our mid 70’s we have slowed down quite a bit my cast iron is getting heavier and heavier. DH had a melanoma scare, stage 0, recently he has been so tired lately I worry about him but the doctors say he is good. Neither of us takes any prescription meds so I consider us pretty healthy. We found a house to buy in Arizona a few miles from DGS and great grandsons but at the last minute decides we will stay put. Keeping up with one house is enough I don’t need 2 kitchens to look after and keep clean. Unless California goes totally socialist with heath care we will be ok. We go and visit ever month or so and face time a few times a week. We have started to rid the house of junk but DD said she consider my house of antiques a museum, my sued furniture that was all I could afford 50 years ago, that she plans on keeping LOL. We live in a resort town so maybe she will use the house after we are gone but who knows. All I know is this getting old thing is not what it’s cracked up to be. Whoever said life get easier after you retire is full of it. And Annie I had horrible acid reflux for the last 4 or 5 years. A couple of months ago I stopped drinking any soda, anything with carbonated water, and I haven’t had any stomach or reflux issues since. Plus I lost a few pounds and sleep so much better. Don’t know if you drink any soda but if you do give it a try maybe it will help.
