I'm loving that watery blue-green-gray, with just a hint of color. All of our furniture and cabinets are cherry, and the contrast, at least to me, looks great.

I did buy a McKee jadeite orange reamer at an auction 2 weeks ago, and kept it on the counter until a couple of days ago, because it was so beautiful. DH said, "Oh, is that where it goes?" I said, "No. I just wanted to look at it for a while." So, I know the attraction to that jadeite color.

Jadite is beautiful! I have a large pouring bowl, and a set of spice jars with black lids and black lettering. The jars are sitting on the stove back. Or whatever that's called.

I don't think I'd paint a room that color, it would feel like being in an institution! lol

I'm in love with the color cerulean. I think I got that name from a crayon! It's the dark blue gray one.

Before that I loved magenta (hm, on a crayon too) and got a lot of kitchen things in it.

I love that jadeite too.

I really like the blue-that-looks purple or the purple-that-looks-blue that one sees in rooms by John Saladino.

I saw a blue wall in a furniture store I have never forgotten, I would love to have an accent wall that color if it ever worked out to have an accent wall. The best way I can describe it is a deep stormy blue. Maybe thats why I bought the cream color bed they had up againest it. But it would be too dark for me to have the whole room that way. Then I would have accents of cream, yellow-greens, light yellow and mauve-which I would never use normally but it would look so good againest it, at least to me.

I have a hoosier in my basement that color! It's in about 100 pieces waiting to be repaired.

Beautiful color AJ, my love right now is more limey citrus greens especially when an aqua is sitting next to it. It's so fresh and happy feeling.

Funny that you mention this right now as I'm having a flirtation with Farrow and Ball Folly Green!

Aqua, turquoise, fuchsia and magenta are all making me very happy right now. I'm limiting them to dishes and table linens as I don't want to change all of the other colors in my house. LOL!

Not sure how well you can see in this pic, but this is my flirtation with jadeite. I bought the jadeite cabinet pulls from Restoration Hardware and then chose the paint color to coordinate. Normally I run screaming from anything that hints of "mint green," but I'm happy with this wall color. This is from our major beach house redo last year.

I'm really loving Revere Pewter right now as an almost all-purpose color. I also love the Mesquite Green I painted my sunroom/office with several months ago. And I always, always love Quiet Moments and Healing Aloe. Finally, after seeing a GW's bedroom painted in Sleepy Hollow, I am obsessed with using it somewhere, someday.

Right now I'm toying with strong blues (not navy and not aqua and not sky blue) with hints of orange in a room. I wanted to go with greens but found myself gravitating towards blues because I really like the blue/orange combination.

I love deep rich purple, which we did on our den and dining room walls. I have always loved olive green to wear, but currently love margarita colored greens for decor to pair with the deep purple. The bright and perky greens make me happy. I am not into any muddy or earthy colors for decor.

Lavender and light perky yellow are also colors I love for paint.
I vow one day to do the bright mango orange that is the background when you do a restart for tivo. It is so alive. It is such a strong color, so it will be a challenge to work it in somehow.

Orange. Deep, rustic, bronzey orange. I've always loved burnt orange, and could envelope myself in all hues of orange.

Jadeite is beautiful, Aunt Jen. Very vintage and very cottage. Reminds me of photo spreads in Victoria magazines.

Right now the colors that speak to me had better be turquoise and dark salmon as that is what I've painted our family room (BM Blue Seafoam & Opal Essence) and our dining room & kitchen in (BM Dark Salmon).

Unfortunately, we just decided to flip around our dining room for the living room so the old living room is now the play room for the kids and the dining room is going to be our formal living room aka MY READING NOOK. I hadn't planned on that space being dark salmon though. I do, however, love the color in the kitchen. It brings a nice warmth to the room and makes the Blue Seafoam & Opal Essence in the adjoining family room less pool-like. :)

Like forhgtv though I will always, always love fuschia & magenta (colors I'm using in DD's room along with SW Faded clay in the laundry room).

Puce. :) Seriously, I love that color, and it always gets a bad rap. Probably because some person decided to name the color puce. ;) My front door is SW Plum Brown and I love it.

Also love the aqua/turquoise of Le Creuset cookware in Caribbean. Don't know if I'd cook with it(very heavy) but I'd love to buy a large pot just as a kitchen accent.

Back in the day pre-kids, I had Folly Green colormatched (as best as one cam w/ F&B) at the same time I did Blue Green.

FG is a stunning, amazing color!

In our new home, I've used SW Halcyon Green in our bath, and really like it.

I'm in love with warm shades of aqua right now. I think it started because I wanted to repaint the guest room so that I could use an aqua & gold duvet cover that is too impractical for the MBR. Of course I haven't painted that room yet but I keep looking for ways to bring aqua into other rooms.

I've always loved every blue-green from aqua to teal, and off-blues from robin's egg to hyacinth. And cobalt. And emerald. Guess that's just my 'color family' ---

Most, not every, of those lovely blues and greens here too. When I was a child, my favorite crayon in Crayola's 72-crayon box was always 'Midnight Blue,' and that's the background color on my sofa right now. My only problem in any with the robin's-egg blue lamp I inherited a quarter century ago from my MIL's 19...30s? trendy flirtation with that color is that it's too dainty to be a major feature.

However, right now I seem to have acquired a surprising amount of items in the "persimmon" range and gaze wistfully (suppressed, I share with DH) at shell pinks (like "Carnation Pink" #2 crayon favorite); all lovely, of course, with warm blues. I used to go straight for scarlet, though.

Well, my prediction for a new hot color trend of course! Indigo!

Just got a new couch in this color and am amazed at how much I like it! I do not have much blue of anything in my home except my bathroom walls.

Rosie! Midnight Blue was always my favorite Crayola color, too! But, then, I don't remember a turquoise or aqua crayon...did they have them? I know they had magenta because I loved it and I liked it next to midnight blue. Both of them had those purple undertones.

I happened onto F & B Folly Green from an amazing magazine article showing it as the paint color on a front door. I had it color matched at a BM store where they have the F & B color formulas.

I painted my front door interior with Folly Green and the walls are Ellen Kennon Verdigris. They look great together.

I LOVE Folly Green.

Aunt Jen - Oh I love that color too! When I am junking, I am a sucker for ANYTHING that color - this was my fav find ($15 bucks) it held all of my spices in my old kitchen.
