the problem is getting under the chemical resistant plastic .. to get to the glue .. i used a heat gun .. from my old paint removal days... and heated it just enough.. to grab and peel a corner ... then the goo gone.. or some variation ... just enough heat.. is when the label starts to bubble a bit.. today i was wondering if a hair dryer would generate enough heat ... i might trust don with a flaming torch.. but i am not sure about the rest of you ... lol ... you will not have to worry about the labels.. should you burn down the garage in the meantime.. lol ... especially if you mix high powered chemical removers with the flaming part .... BTW.. i did this on some heavy duty stainless steel labels i had.. i dont know if i would bother on replaceable zinc coated plates .... ken

Best way I've found is oxiclean - add a scoop or two to really hot water in a bowl, add bottles, and let set. I usually forget about it and wind up leaving for a day or two, but the labels usually float to the surface at some point. If not, they always peel off nicely. If there's any residue, it scrubs off easily. Just don't let the bottles dry before removing labels, or you're back in the same spot you were originally... As a bonus, I had burned something in a stainless steel bowl and the resulting soot or whatever wasn't scrubbing off, and figuring the bowl was already ugly, I used it for the first oxyclean-label-removing experiment and it cleaned the bowl too! Also, the solution seems to be more-or-less reusable; if you have a bunch of bottles, you can put a few in the bowl, remove labels, and put a few more into the same bowl and solution.

Deeby, mules eat the same as horses but better a lower protein...like about 10% and less sugar....because too much sweet feed (molasses added to oats and corn, etc.) can make them hyper. I also have 3 donkeys and they eat about the same as the mule...lots of good quality hay and they are all on pasture as well. Mules are different than other equines. The old saying goes (something like)....you tell a horse, ask a donkey and negotiate with a mule. Mules are very smart and they can be easily ruined if badly handled. You really do need to form a bond with a mule....if they like you, they will do so much more for you. Mules are male or female, just like horses...except a boy mule is called a john and a female is called a molly. It is preferable to geld a john mule when they are very young (geld means castrate...neuter, if you prefer). They are a hybrid of a horse and a donkey and they are sterile. Only very, very rarely has one reproduced. Interestingly enough, there is a farm in Florida that raises Gypsy Vanner horses, which are a large breed, supposedly the ones that Gypsies used to pull their caravans. Often paints, sort of like a draft horse....anyway, they do embryo transplants from Gypsy Vanner mares into female mules. The mules carry the little Gypsy Vanners and raise them and are said to make superior mothers. The reason they do that is because Gypsy Vanners are very expensive and they can produce many more foals that way....by having the mare mules carry the babies. Male donkeys are called Jacks and females are Jennies. My donkeys are named Amos, Moses and Hobo. Cherry Fizz, I collect dice too....I have four big jars of dice and also those flat craft marbles....two big jars of those. I have all kinds of things in jars....cookie cutters, scoops, polished stones, little ornaments, weird odds and ends....little bones, teeth. I'm sort of a cross between a pet coon and a magpie.

I use a product called Goof-Off and haven't found anything it hasn't worked on. I believe i got it at lowe's. It comes in a little can like the old lighter fluid cans. It talkes off labels, crayons, magic markers. It's made in the USA and has a web site.
