Looking for pictures for stationary drapery panels

I have a decision to make on how much fabric I need for drapes in my LR. It's a double window 72" by 69".

There will be 2 panels for decorative purposes only. They will never be closed. With this in mind, I need to decide on whether to have the panels 1 1/2 widths or 1 width. The fabric is 54" wide and pricey.

I saw a picture in Architectural Digest last week in either the June or July issue of panels in a room that where fixed to the ceiling (or looked to be fixed to the ceiling) and were simply gathered I thought they would be perfect. It was as the Nail Salon I go to. Well, I went back there yesterday and of course it's missing.

I am open for any ideas. The difference in price would be a couple of hundred dollars and since I am not working right now, we would love to use our decorating dollars wisely.

I would love to see pictures of what people have done. In the meanwhile, I will go to the library to try to find the issue.

Thanks

Rande
