When I was married my husband was in charge of outdoor decorations. We both were shift workers then at the same plant so it was natural for one of us to come home at 11 pm. I figured it was finally time to take down the front decorations as we were heavy decorators. Nothing left unturned in out yard. So when he was due in at 11 one night I had the whole outdoors lit up. Every light on. Everything moving. He unplugged it. Next night same thing He came home to Vegas lights. He showed me. Removed the extension cord. Ha I am an electrician. After the third night they were down. He is gone now. Kinda miss messing with him. Paula

Oh my goodness am I on a roll here or what? First of all Ria by all means send me the smaller ones so you don't have to pay alot of postage. Besides they will probably ship and tranplant better if they are smaller. Maybe I can get more smaller ones if you find some place on the side of the road to dig them up. LOL Karen-gardenpaw, I would dearly love some of your ferns too. As far as I'm concerned I can use as many ferns as I can get my hands on. YIPPPEE Karyn1- I've never been into one of those markets but I guess there is a first time for everything. LOL What the heck is malanga roots??? did you by any chance have the opportunity to check and see if you had any bromeliad pups of ANY KIND? I'm so excited about the project that I'm working on and I can't wait to get everything and share the photos with everyone a little later in the year. I tried to download my camera to my computer and I'm still having problems doing so. ( I'm so computer stupid/dumb it's unreal). I wanted to share some of my blooms in the iris beds with ya'll. I know alot of you would be blown away. Unfortunately for me, it may take me a week before I figure it out. Either that or I'll have to go to Wal-Mart have it put on a disc and then send them in emails. That's about the only way I know how to do any of that. LOL Kylie-I can't wait till you can go to the post office and pop that puppy in the mail to me. I've been drooling every since all of you have said you would be more than willing to share with me. I've used the Money Maze/Bilz Box several times (I may not have kids of my own but I've often had quite a few around with their sticky little hands out ;-)) and it always goes over well - meaning the recipient swears a lot at me while they try to solve the puzzle. *evil grin* If one doesn't take a hammer to it ;-) and hangs onto the outside box, it recloses nicely so it can be reused for someone else. Only six boxes, Mareda? ;-) Someone dear to me once did that with over twenty boxes, starting with a washing machine box and ending with a tiny box with a pair of diamond earrings (which were promptly stolen from my dorm room - people can really suck). You can keep the momentum rolling for a youngster, who might get discouraged, by taping a dollar bill to one of the inside boxes every so often. One year when DH and I were especially flush we gave my little brother - high schooler at the time - cash folded up very tiny and stuck into a walnut shell (which I admit I bought from Michaels, not being successful in getting a walnut to open nicely myself) which I painted gold and hung from a ribbon. I think I put something like "for my favorite nut" on the tag? Mom said he looked rather crestfallen thinking that stupid little walnut was his present - I think the painted walnut shell was an "in" craft that year - but she was in on it and told him to break it open. He just about croaked. Someone in the household has to be in on the joke, or perhaps in another little box you could wrap up a dollar-store nutcracker as a hint. I've use cash as a bookmark in a favorite book - I once bought a book in a used bookstore with a $50 bill stuck in the middle where you wouldn't find it unless you read the entire book! I don't do that, I leave it sticking a tiny bit out of the top. (I called the bookstore to see if they had a record of who had turned it in for credit, but they didn't, so I split the $50 with the local animal shelter.) I think that would be an especially great thing to do with a book on money management for teens/young adults.
