Nicholas, I understand hand pollination success rate is 10-15%, so just keep trying. There are many variables that need to come together for success, not the least of which include a receptive & mature ovary and viable pollen. I've read that some (most?) hybrids are incapable of producing pollen. Maria Elena

That is so funny! I started to write to suggest above that table, but I couldn't remember what you had there, so searched some of your threads for a picture to see. I never could narrow down the search to find the right pic, but I'm glad it looks so great there. Perfect and I really like that you shifted the chairs so they are arranged without one against the wall.

buford, that is a gorgeous and very large Mme. Lambard. The flower is really beautiful and looks as though it has more petals. My two were obtained in October 2014 and I suspect they're not larger because of the drought. Carol, I received these roses from the Antique Rose Emporium in Texas, along with the genuine RJG. I must say that my two Mme. Lambard have grown at a much faster pace than RJG, although I received all three together at the same time. catspa, I'm amazed at the ML that has never received summer water. It's full of blooms. It's difficult to be 100% certain of its identity, but is probably as good a guess than any. Virginia, I'm sure your ML will be splendid in no time. It seems like a carefree and easy rose, in addition to being quite lovely.

I attached a link but he shows you brush on the powder...I could have sworn he showed up pressing powder on to the skin...unless there is another video. But the pressing worked for me. I'll try brushing next time and how that works...
