I did something similar a few yrs ago. I had the same concerns about the smaller pieces breaking off so instead of using a mold and placing them in the ground when done, I cut the mold shape directly into the ground. I put a couple inches of hypertufa in, then layed chicken wire on top and put a couple more inches of hypertufa on top. You really have to keep it moist for awhile and I suppose it does dry out faster being in the ground. I just had a spray bottle and doused them a few times a day and covered them with plastic. My biggest problem was keeping the dogs off of them! Good luck, I love the puzzle piece idea and I bet it will look awesome.

I love doing jigsaw puzzles and never thought of taking a picture of the finished project. LOL My friends and I do puzzles all the time. I like the Springbok puzzles from Hallmark the best but have done others. My favourite puzzles are "mystery" puzzles, the ones you don't have a picture of. LOL I never look at the box when I am doing a puzzle either - takes the fun away. I just got a 1000 piece puzzle on sale at Hallmark for half price and it is sitting on the kitchen table waiting for me to start. When I have lost a puzzle piece and I know I am going to do the puzzle in the future or lend it out I take the the small section of the puzzle where the piece is missing and lay it in the lid of the box and then I outline the missing piece so I know what to look for when doing it again and know that a piece is missing. I do the edge pieces first and then I start from the bottom and try to work from left to right half way up the puzzle then I do the upper half when the bottom half is finished. Anne

I think the foam board using stick on picture hangers is a great idea, although be ready for it to damage the wall. They can do that. I would try just one and see how well it works. Hanging with wire I'd think would make it crooked.

It's fine to resurrect an old thread. It's just a common way of spammers. And they'll post a vague comment then return under the 7 day window and edit the thread and add spam. (after 7 days, no edit allowed.) I check to see the poster's other activity, and if there is none, then I watch that post. Sometimes I'll see other posts, and can tell if the person is real or a spam bot. Just help out and flag the spam when you see it!
