How about plastic painter drop cloths. They make heavy duty ones as well as the super thin throw aways. Also, some places sell large plastic bags to cover yard items. I get clear plastic off the roll in the fabric section of Walmarts to cover my dining room tablecloth. It comes in different weights. The roll is quite wide and sells by the foot. By the way, the regular fuzzy backed vinyl tablecloth material that Walmart sells by the running foot in the fabric dept cam be used to make a cheap mattress protector instead of the expensive waterproof mattress pads sold in bedding depts. Just lay it on the mattress, overlap if two are needed for larger bed, and cover with regular mattress pad, and sheets. It has never shifted under the sheets when I tried it (to protect from a sick cat) and worked great. Takes less room to store too

We have purchased the Sierra Designs Bedouin 6 tent off Ebay for $183.00. I've set it up inside our garden room and there's room for four large ThermaRest pads and room to cruise up the middle. The tent is only 8 square feet larger in area than our SD Base Camp '88 model, but the headroom is over six feet so it feels a lot larger. I really like the bends in the X-poles and the as-always top-shelf quality of Sierra Designs products. I counted 27 different pockets in the tent, really like the adjustable clothesline too. There are three different dual cupholders attached to the tent, they are mesh and also have small pockets above them. The dual vestibules are a nice feature that the Agnes Big House didn't offer. Brow poles make them possible and don't require stooping for entry like most vestibules. The amount of mesh is just right, there's ventilation but with the fly there is heat retention as well. We're taking it into the back country next month for camping in the Laguna Mountains.

I love making purses out of them more than anything! cut just the pockets out and make "Bar Bags" they are just big enough to put your cell phone, ID and a bit of cash in your bag and go out dancing without having to carry your huge purse around with you. I also make the pocket purses cute for little girls too. The fun of those for me is finding unique things to make the straps out of.. everything from old stings of beads from my Mom's last trip to Mardi Gras to ribbons and braided leather strips from an old belt, etc. Love those and they've sold excellently for me too! also the simplest purses are made from my daughter's outgrown jeans skirts. Just sew the bottom hems closed and boom, you got a purse! Soo many ways to decorate them and again fun and funky straps. Just love it! :0) At this last show I saw a woman who was wearing a poncho made out of denim squares. it was so cute! She told me she made it herself using the same techniques you use to sew granny squares together when you are crocheting. I know NOTHING about crochet so I guess that idea is out! LOL Most of all just have fun with it, cuz when it gets to be work, it's a JOB and who wants that!!!! Have a blessed weekend!!! Jenn
