That is definately a frog with a rose between his teeth.His Teeth are a greenish cast so they look like he has had one to many seaweed sodas!Ill take a close up to post later of the lizards.

Kjlyttle, maybe a small collection of smooth stones/rocks/pebbles placed across the ledge would deter the froggies? Using different sizes and shapes, rounded, can use pretty polished ones ...Imagining frogs still trying to get up on them: but by your careful placement with the stones being purposefully a tad unstable, would drop to the ground, taking the frog with it. Then just place the collection back onto the window ledge as needed. Possible positive...it would give a little bit of a nice quiet zen feel; and one possible negative...if a pebble falls into the lawn, it could get lost in it, and then might become a tiny projectile at the next mowing. Maybe keep a count of how many on each ledge, to help prevent that type of accident.

Irawon, And they make very pretty, interesting terrarium pets, too. I kept some that I caught on LI in a 30 gallon long tank with a 3D ledge background, some branch sections to climb and bask on, using a substrate of microfine coconut fiber (comes under various brand names). They are very cute, although aggressive to one another. You can only keep ONE male per colony or they'll fight to the death. I found that even females can be aggressive to one another. I was taking a summer class earlier this summer at the city college down the block. Every single day, when I'd walk home from class, there were 2 Italian Wall lizards on the same exact ledge, in the same exact place, every day. It was cute having "my" lizards waiting for me each day!

Okay - my mistake. I went outside the other night to take a closer look at our frog and it turns out that it is a toad! Sly little bugger! I had to sneak closer to get a look with my flashlight and saw the bumpy skin. Then last night I was out looking for the toad again in his usual spot under the waterfall because I heard him croaking. Across from our waterfall is a small metal frog sculpture and would you believe that sitting right there beside me and behind this frog sculpture was the toad! He wasn't scared of me at all! Silly little thing! I also noticed tadpoles in the pond today just hatching out of their eggs from a string of slimy egg casing strung along one of my pond plants. It was very interesting to see them hatching, although they will probably become fish food for the goldfish who always seem to be hungry. And the saga of the frog, er, toad continues . . .
