Hawaii is out.. Wife sez 14hrs burns 2 days and two much

Island hopping... NOw this is her choice

anybody been there.

My son and daughter inlaw went there shortly after sept 11 for their honeymoon. They really liked the island, it has an interesting history, I believe it was a danish settlement.

It's OK. My best bet would be Aruba. Always Sunny and safe.

Well I didnt think if this-- I could trade another type of tomtoe seed for some early wonder plants. I probably have over 50 different kinds of tomatoes, if you have some plants to trade for tomato seed, it might be easier to ask me if I have a specific kind of seed as there are too many to list. P. alba aka Nosegay Tree 20' to 25' tall, 20' to 25' in spread, seedlings come true to parent, white. 2" White on a medium short tree with narrow pointed leaves. A true species from the Virgin Islands. Large shrub, elongated leaves, large white, highly perfumed. A beautiful landscaping shrub. Grown commercially for frangipani essential oil, perfumes etc. Citrus fragrance. Pure white with a deep yellow center. 3-4" Star shaped flowers. Very cold damaged this past winter. The most damaged of the species or sub species was that "Koko Monster" from the Koko Crater Botanical Garden in Honolulu. It is a pure species from The Island of St Croix in the Caribbeans. Long thin strap like foliage with large white highly perfumed flowers. A large shrub. Disease resistant.

Trin- if you want something that looks more like a surgical glove you can buy Casabella latex gloves - and they're bright pink too. I buy them at Bed, Bath and Beyond but I've also found them in drugstores and the Container Store. You can also order them online. They're not expensive, I think about $4.00 a pair. Anybody have St Charles cabinets?

I don't know how the new St. Charles hold up but the kitchen I just took out was the old SC from 1964. We repurposed them in the laundry room and anywhere else they would fit in the basement. They look great - no scratches, chips or dents and all rollouts and hinges still work perfectly. They are super easy to keep clean too. Mine have some the extras like the built in lighting. There are still a lot of these kitchens in my area because they hold up so well! If the new ones aren't up to snuff I wouldn't hesitate to consider buying an older set and retrofitting it. I wish I could see the new line but the closest dealer is 5 hours away.

The crime rate is really bad. The cruise ships have all but stopped going there because of it. Headlines in the papers here about sewage running in the streets in Christiansted (which is a beautiful town.)

You've been to St. Thomas, so why not try St. John?

You might try the other St. Croix Island, between Maine and New Brunswick. It's celebrating the 400th anniversary as the first French settlement in North America where not everyone was massacred, etc.

Yes - have been there and chose to live there!!! Do NOT listen to GingerStThomas. St. Croix actually has LESS crime than St.Thomas, St. Thomas pays the cruise lines money to stop there!! St. Thomas is known as "Little New York City" in our neck of the woods and fine for maybe a day or at the most two. St. Croix is a laid back island that LOVES visitors. We have a wonderful history, have preserved our historical sites, have the best diving and beaches in the Caribbean, and the nicest people.
