thank you! I got the icicle at the dollar store last year, they come two in a pack and has those small batteries, that come with it, had gotton them to do the blue icicle you make for someone who has lost a loved one, so desided to try to make a angel out of them, the head is a small bulb thats wraped with thread you see everywhere cheap, I poked a whole in the bottom kinda off to the side so the thread dont come undone, took a bit of working to get the hole big enough to go over the hook on the icicle, next I glued the head on with e6000 and a little hot glue, the wings are a bow with another peice for the part that goes down, tied with silver thread, I also attach the string for hanging to the back of the bow, so the angel looks like shes flying, forgot to say shes a ornament, after makeing the wings I glued them to the small silver part at the top of the icicle on the back of the angel, the silver part is what turns the lite on and also where you put the batteries, so you have to be careful that nothing gets glued to the icicle part, the halo is that wire stuff that has stars, pulled the stars off and made a circle with a peice comeing down, took the hook off the top and glued the peice that comes down in the hole where the hook was on the head and you have a angel! I am sure you crafty people will figure it out , but if anyone likes I can post a photo of the parts layed out. maybe someone here who writes poem could make one up like the blue icicle poem, was so pretty! everyone I gave them to cried, sad but a thought full gift, seems the time of year when we think about and sooo miss our loved ones that have passed. sorry minie! you know I cant stop, you make just as adorable crafts! I have seen your projects! Thanks agine oddie

I don't know what I'm doing wrong with this photobucket thing. I've been trying this all morning and that is all I get. I'm following the tutorial, but I must be pasting in the wrong spot. I put it right in the message, like here ____ and that's what happened. Am I supposed to paste it in where it says Optional Link URL or Name of the link? This is confusing and driving me crazy, think I'll go pick up my knitting, ha ha.

Thanks for all the nice comments! The stained glass one was done in a workshop with Karen Kay Buckley. The "leading" is that fusible bias tape (expensive stuff!). You trace the design on the background fabric then glue the colored pieces in place with water soluble glue stick. Then you fuse the bias tape in place and sew it down with a twin needle. Before you sew you layer the backing, batting & top, so it's QAYG. The fabrics in the other quilt were one of those pre-packaged fat quarter bundles that I got at Hancock's, so that's why they are so well coordinated! :) Donna

Thanks Belle, Look at the bottom leaf on the left above the 3 small leaves, that isn't done. From there I add gold, blue, pink, greens just lightly and blend. Sometimes I start with a dry brush and hit it with a slightly damp brush.I then go back and use some black cherry or black green at the base. Hit the outter leaves with the lightest green and darker green with thinned paint to add a nice edge using a liner and damp brush. Since all of you rave about my leaves I just keep going until I'm satisfied. Wish the roses would come that easy. I think you and Luvs need to jump in and play with your leaves and they will be superior to mine in no time. Use your mop brush or a smaller brush to blend like you did on the pumpkins. I don't take the time I should with my projects and don't always care. How sad is that? If none of this makes sense, I'm a hands on person, so come see me and we'll teach each other some new painting techniques.haha When we talk like this it makes one realize why PF takes so many classes from so many different instructors. I would love to be able to go to classes several times a year. Wouldn't it be neat if some year we could all join Bebe at one of the seminars? Now I'm dreaming fo sure. Punk
