I am sure most of you have seen these done before, but since this forum is moving a little slowly lately, I will show mine.

Good job! They came out great!

That bed is very similar to my bed that I bought 20 years ago! At first I thought it was the exact same one, but upon further looking I see that it is slightly different.

Here's a picture of it with a quilt I made on top:

If you take a good look you can see the T2T tables beside the bed. These were both trash-picked and in sorry shape. I primed them and painted them, added new drawer pulls to the one on the left and decoupaged 2 cut-outs on the front of the one on the right.

And here is a picture of a bench made from the lower section of a bunkbed about 4 years ago:

Lynne, I totally understand. In the last 2 months we have: dealt with diagnosis of hubby's cancer, repeat of two tests, feeding tube, PICC line insertions, made offer on second home 30 miles away, finally closed on it in 45 days, started moving some of our 'stuff' there, are in the 3rd wk of chemo/radiation (I am taking every Monday off work to go w/him on Monday, which is a very long day at M D Anderson), working full time, having Mom's 90th b'day party, made hubby 2 new PJ bottoms, finished 2 baby quilt tops, bought fabric for 11 window valances which I'll make this weekend. As soon as chemo/radiation is over I am taking a week's vacation. Carolyn

Thanks Belle, Look at the bottom leaf on the left above the 3 small leaves,that isn't done. From there I add gold, blue, pink, greens just lightly and blend. Sometimes I start with a dry brush and hit it with a slightly damp brush.I then go back and use some black cherry or black green at the base. Hit the outter leaves with the lightest green and darker green with thinned paint to add a nice edge using a liner and damp brush. Since all of you rave about my leaves I just keep going until I'm satisfied. Wish the roses would come that easy. I think you and Luvs need to jump in and play with your leaves and they will be superior to mine in no time. Use your mop brush or a smaller brush to blend like you did on the pumpkins. I don't take the time I should with my projects and don't always care. How sad is that? If none of this makes sense, I'm a hands on person, so come see me and we'll teach each other some new painting techniques.haha When we talk like this it makes one realize why PF takes so many classes from so many different instructors. I would love to be able to go to classes several times a year. Wouldn't it be neat if some year we could all join Bebe at one of the seminars? Now I'm dreaming fo sure. Punk

Luvs, I got 22 painting books and alot of other things. I truly feel blessed always. I ended up with 2 of Snowtime Smiles by Kay Quist so I could share if someone would like one. It's so hard to pick what to paint with all of the new ideas. We had Christmas dinner here so everyone went through the books and put sticky notes on what they wanted with their names on them. I told them not to hold their breath cause it takes along time to paint some of the projects, but I would try to get them done according to holidays for them. I also received lots of new brushes and a jar of triple thick. I don't see where it says how to clean your brushes after using it. My children and sister are very generous at buying books, they will enjoy new things for themselves and their friends also. I love the Between the Vines so that's what I started with. We had a great day today with GD and family. We shopped and went out to dinner afterwards.

Thanks for all of the great responses. I won't have as much time to work on this b/c starting next week I'll be taking a drawing class twice a week and a ceramics class twice a week and two online art history classes so that I can enroll in my masters program next fall. I am going back to school to become an art teacher :) But I'm not giving up on working on my mosaics. I love the glass on glass work. I found this picture in a magazine, it was a picture of a rug :)

Wow! Doesn't color make the biggest difference in what a piece ends up looking like?

I love the color in particular you chose for the potting bench-- it just is so soothing and fresh.

Love your projects!! I guess I need to do one of those potting benches, it looks like it would be great for organizing all those pots I have to store each winter.
