That is how I have my DS Kindle set up - I didn't want it tied to my account, so I just bought him an Amazon card (they actually have Kindle ones, but any Amazon card works). I bought a $25 one from the grocery store - no fees. Check with your local library too! I can "check out" books from my local library, down load them via Amazon for free. I get to keep them on the Kindle for 2 or 3 weeks and they they take them off. In Iowa it is called WILBOR - and it works GREAT!!! I use my library card number to check them out, but I do it from my home computer.

After swim practice, one of my girlfriends offered for the girls to stay at the pool with her girls ( our girls are best friends ) so I could run back. I picked up the map, the lamps and I also found a painting I liked in the 60% off room. Th guy that owns the place come down to $55 for the map, $50 for the lamps and the painting wasn't supposed to be in the marked down room, but he honored it since someone there had tagged it wrong. So I got the painting for $20! Here's the map .. it has more yellow on it than I remembered, but I still love it. There is also no orange, that's red and it reads red in real life, my camera didn't pick up the accurate color for some reason. I have a quedtion on Kindle books for children. My eight year old has a Kindle and I would like to give her a gift cetifiicate to purchase books online. Is there a website I can look at to order? Her mom won't let me buy clothes or toys as my tastes are not to her liking...
