No, the soil is just the excuse they are trying to use to not fix it. We will be heading to arbitration so it will all get resolved one way or the other. I know that Dallas is a different office and hopefully they are better folks. I just wanted to point out that a national builder with a "great" warranty doesn't always mean things will work out and to be sure that you understand what protection the contract does and doesn't give you.

I spoke with Nita yesterday, and I am so excited about their visit!! They have just purchased a 40ft 5th wheel, and are trucking from Arizona to Fort Worth. What does your landscaper say? Many suppliers warranty plants for something like a year - especially when professionally planted. With that many plants suffering, would get their advice/support... oh, and not be too quick to blame the dog for most of it. Agree with PKponder that a lot could be due to stress of June planting. Though seems most of those could be kept alive even in pots watered every other day in shade. Any chance they're getting much more light now that the Sun is passing further to the south than in June? I fried our second year seed started goldenball leadtrees not accounting for this change while we were out of town for a couple weeks last August.
