I'm thinking spring too, Irina.... Fred already gave me great advice about timing too. My background is in marketing and I'm always trying to approach any event or task from various viewpoints. Mother's Day weekend is already taken - was thinking that this would be a great time to promote these plants as gifts and to encourage other's to explore our meetings and this hobby. Easter - same marketing advantage. I personally think a violet as an Easter gift would be very nice. There is a huge plant sale here locally that one of the garden clubs does and they have traffice of 700 people + in a one day. I need to find out when that is and do it about 2 weeks after that (I'm thinking on the spot here, out loud) so that we could promote our event at their event. I think I just found my date :) Dora

I cannot compare, Carol, but can tell you that the Hartford show over the 20+ years I've attended, now has many more 'other-than-gardening' types of vendors and the few garden displays, although nicely landscaped, do not seem as robust or extensive as they once were. I see people leaving with new mops, earrings, vibrating pillows, but few bulbs or flowers. A GW member commented to me a few years ago at the Philadelphia show that that show's focus seemingly had turned toward a more stylization of gardening with more emphasis on floral arrangements and art with flowers versus down in the dirt gardening and growing, if you will. I think it is fair to say the same is true, on a much smaller scale, of the Hartford show. We go to the Hartford show because it is close and it's a nice way to spend few hours on a cold day and to have lunch out with the girls. Personally, I wouldn't drive from Boston to attend if Providence is easier for you. I'm guessing the shows are quite similar. I don't have any question about the tub being from 1931--standing wastes were not available much after that, and the filler is down inside the rim of the tub. The toilet looks within the last ten years, as does the faucet set on the sink, but these things often need replacing. I say 1931 with replacements. I just don't know about the tile around the tub. Brown would have been unusual but not impossible, I guess, and I've been in some bathrooms of this period that have wood floors, where the originality of everything is without question.

Hubby and I were trying to put this all together when he said Look at Wiki!!! So I did and Voila!! "In episode 22 of season 6, "The Hole in the Heart", which saw the death of "Squintern" Vincent Nigel-Murray at the hands of renegade sniper Jacob "on the loose" Broadsky, Booth has Brennan stay at his apartment for her safety. Later that night, Brennan, still overcome with shock and grief over Vincent's death, gets into bed with Booth and it is implied in the following day that they had sex. In the last scene of the season 6 finale, "The Change in the Game", after the birth of Angela and Hodgins' son, Brennan tells Booth that she is pregnant and that he is the father, making Booth overjoyed. At the start of Season 7, a very pregnant Brennan and Booth are a couple but are going back and forth between apartments. Booth suggsts that they should have their own place, whereas Brennan want Booth to move into her apartment. It causes a minor rift between them but is resolved when Booth admits why he wants to move into a new house and Brennan having some time to think over it says its a good idea because she'd need him practically, emotionally and sexually. At the end of the episode they are in bed looking at houses on the internet. Brennan also tells Booth she loves him." FWIW--I think they have ruined the show.
