Wodka and OleMissRebel, Wish I'd seen this thread earlier. I'm in Gulfport and we are about 2 weeks from moving into our new home, rebuilt on our original lot. This time we built all concrete - floors, walls, ceilings - went higher and added an elevator. Our pool is 12 feet off of the ground! We put in a spool. Its a fiberglass pool by Viking called a Hydrozone. Its about 8.5x18 and has a motor so that you can swim and exercise against the current. We couldn't even find a pool company who seemed to "get" what we wanted and we ended up with a nice guy from Navarre Beach, FL. I have to tell you though, that the price you've been quoted is very much in line with what we paid for the pool. Unfortunately by the time we built the pool off of the ground we've spent more like $75,000 all together. Nevertheless, we won't worry about flooding and we have almost complete privacy. If you would like some more info, or to see photos, send me your email. You can even come over and see the pool if you like. I'm still waiting on the water feature, but you can get a good idea. The reason that we went with the Hydrozone was because we wanted a pool that was 5' deep. It just didn't make sense to us to put in a 3 ft pool.

Also do 'Paris' and 'Old World' in caps : ) I was thinking, when the sign sells, you really should make another one for your friend (not the Etsy buyer) since they won't come out the same. I hate it when I buy something on eBay only to find they were selling multiple similar items and did not send the one I saw and liked. (One time I got a truly ugly tin ceiling tile -- leftovers from the lot I suppose, or hoping to just pass it off -- when the pic was really pretty and interesting. What a hassle.) Of course, things in catalogues aren't the pic versions, but one doesn't expect it to be and simply worries what the sent one will actually look like. I guess you could also just state in the ad that the sign shown is no longer for sale, but that they are made to order and will vary due to the nature of handcrafted items. (I'd follow up the sale with a preview pic of the new item before shipment, just to be sure they like it, too : ) Thanks for sharing instructions! (You could get much more : )

Luvs...I am painting fall...check out the other side, and it sounds like you have been busy, also, I don't have a problem with you posting pix's to more than one forum....I forget to go over there and check. It has been in the family since the early 1930's but really needs a new home and no one want to store it until someone comes along who wants it. A local gentleman refurbishes piano's and donates them to families that have young students who can't afford a piano. So..... it will continue to give pleasure to someone new. When and if they stop with their lessons the piano move on.... Well, gotta run or rather slow walk to the mail box.... Take Care All! Belle
