I love making purses out of them more than anything! cut just the pockets out and make "Bar Bags" they are just big enough to put your cell phone, ID and a bit of cash in your bag and go out dancing without having to carry your huge purse around with you. I also make the pocket purses cute for little girls too. The fun of those for me is finding unique things to make the straps out of.. everything from old stings of beads from my Mom's last trip to Mardi Gras to ribbons and braided leather strips from an old belt, etc. Love those and they've sold excellently for me too! also the simplest purses are made from my daughter's outgrown jeans skirts. Just sew the bottom hems closed and boom, you got a purse! Soo many ways to decorate them and again fun and funky straps. Just love it! :0) At this last show I saw a woman who was wearing a poncho made out of denim squares. it was so cute! She told me she made it herself using the same techniques you use to sew granny squares together when you are crocheting. I know NOTHING about crochet so I guess that idea is out! LOL Most of all just have fun with it, cuz when it gets to be work, it's a JOB and who wants that!!!! Have a blessed weekend!!! Jenn

Oh, I like the chair too. The thing I like about wingbacks is that they really are very compact chairs due to the staighter backs. Promote it to DH in the way of marital togetherness. :) If that doesn't work, offer him the one with the footrest. The one chair looks so cozy to sit in the evening and read, but then you are all by yourself. :( You could look for a long time and not find such a good match. I bet you could get that chair for $60 as well if you made an offer--not sure if you should start with $50 and try to settle in the middle--but that is what I'd try. Make sure to ask about any pets or smoke it that is a concern to you since it is upholstered.

I, too, find spring shoes a trial. I think something along the lines of Mizgg's 3rd & 4th pictures (not necessarily as high if you don't like the height) are what you should be considering. Some of those peep toe booties are cute, never thought I'd say such a thing, and I think they wouldn't actually be too cold during most of the awkward temperature weather since so much of the foot is covered. But you wouldn't know until you tried them so it could be an expensive mistake. I can't wear any shoe that exposes the top of my foot (ballet flats, any low vamp loafer) until it's truly sandal weather (and then I wear sandals) but I'd be willing to gamble on a peep toe since the top of my foot is covered. When I transition from ankle boot until sandals, I wear something along the lines of Mizzgg's open back clogs. I dislike a pump with jeans but that's me, if it works for you, then work it, girl.

What I found interesting is that there was nothing particularly interesting about the site for the mini-Schönbrunn house, or for the norman-Tudor house next door. The vertical brick contemporary, or maybe modern, I don’t know the difference, was on a similar site except it had tall evergreens that the house kind of echoed. Were the evergreens there before? I don’t know. perhaps the architect had them in mind, recommended them. Perhaps it was the simple, straight lines of the Schönbrunn and modern, as opposed to the slopes and curves of the Norman/Tudor, prettier as they were in isolation, fitting in on the former flattish farmland.
