Aw! Glad to see she put on her dancin' shoes! LOL! LOVE IT! Hope she had the time of her life. And that is a great location for pictures! Great shots! Those pics have me feeling so much. A little bit nastalgic, but the realization that my own DD is halfway there is sinking in strong right now! She is 9, and I know I'm gonna blink my eyes and she'll be in a prom dress, too. She might even sport the same shoes... my DD who prefers her brother's hand-me-down sweats to anything else.

Stacy, LOVE these pictures! It looks like they had a great time and got home safe. Sydney is just gorgeous and Cody is a doll too. I think it's kinda funny they had the dance at the Seniors Center! lol Great pictures. Your azaleas are beautiful too. Did they do a Senior Promenade? My boys' was a Jr./Sr. prom and they had the Seniors go across the stage with their date. Then they made all the parents leave so the kids could enjoy their prom. It's such a magical night for these kids. It's so neat to see the girl's dresses and hair. Man, I feel old! lol

Thanks, everyoone, for all your nice comments! Suzanne was only 17 when she had Liz, so they are both young! She divorced Liz's father less than two years later, and I'm very proud of all she's accomplished since then. Except for blonde hair (well, mine used to be all blonde) I don't think I resemble either of them, unfortunately. I'm bigger all over, for one thing. And Suzanne inherited my mother-in-law's perfect nose (because I prayed for that when I was pregnant!). Sometimes, though, I catch a glimpse of my mother's family in Liz's face. You be the judge: Here's a picture of Suzanne and me from last year.

I gave these to my daughter in law today,and she almost cried,she loved them so much :) It's just photo quality paper,some free brushes d/l'd from the internet, some Easter grass or basket filler,some fine glitter glue,and I cut out the outline of them after the glue dried. I did add some jewels later,and a battery operated votive I stuck inside the lid with rolled up tape.I sort of curled the photos to make them the shape of the jar,the filler holds them up. I can't wait to find out how my daughter likes hers:)
