What to make with prisms

I have about forty 14 inch prisms that I removed from a chandelier. Any ideas what to make with these? I love gardening, so ideas for the garden are welcome. Thanks.

Post this over on the Garden Junk forum as I think they will have some ideas, would help if you showed them also, 14 in. are pretty long, sounds like a wind chimes might work! Jan

First of all they would make fabulous Christmas ornaments. I' ll leave the decorating ideas up to you I.e. ribbons, beads.

He're is what I did with some bought prisms to make a lightweight chandelier for an 1812 ball room theme. Notice the wire flower baskets I recycled for the frame. This would be great outdoors in a gazebo painted a rustic black or even white. The sky's the limit!

Cool ideas----thanks. We're remodeling and this was a chandelier that was hanging over the tub. I removed the prisms before it went in the dumpster and I'm so glad I did. I was also thinking, I have a bottle tree and I'm going to try hanging them from the branches and see how that looks. A lot of possibilities here, all I needed was a start. When I decide exactly what to do, I'll try and post a picture (I've never done that before).

Chrmann, I really don't see anything 'special' with a solar prism greenhouse.. dispite thier "spin" on the shape.. is just a fiberglass gothic arch greenhouse. I see no rason why you cannot place your greenhouse so as it gets shaded during hottest part of day by DECIDEUOS ( dang my poor spelling) trees. get shade in the summer and good sunlight for heat in the winter. That price is about right--at least that is what the single crystals sold for in the antique/collectibles store where I worked. If they had smaller crystals attached, then they were higher. In the back of most decorating magazines, there's always an ad for a place called Spectrum (I think the name was different in my latest mag but I can't find it now) and they have different shapes and sizes and even colors from .30 cents and up.
