As you are in the planning stage, and you have thought this through enough to think as far as pollinating by insects, I think this may be of interest to you. Many insects "see" not what we see but they "see" in the UV range. Many studies have been done about the effects of harmful (to plants) insects in greenhouses with UV opaque coverings and it has been found that they cause less damage inside greenhouses than outdoors as they are effectivly blind in the greenhouse, they cannot find the food! This also holds true for pollinating insects too. They cannot "see" the flowers without UV light. It may be very cheap to add UV lighting in your structure that shines only on the plants, not you. Also there are different types of UV. It may be that your greenhouse will filter out ALL UV wavelengths and you can add back non-harmful, to you, portions of the spectrum inside so the bees are happy again. Think of the cheap "black light" bulbs. The ones used in night clubs that make white clothing glow (and also show you who has severe dandruff if they wear dark colors. ) There are many resources on the net that explain this much better than me ( probably even scientific studies that explain why dandruff glows in UV light! ) Here is just one link that explains it. That price is about right--at least that is what the single crystals sold for in the antique/collectibles store where I worked. If they had smaller crystals attached, then they were higher. In the back of most decorating magazines, there's always an ad for a place called Spectrum (I think the name was different in my latest mag but I can't find it now) and they have different shapes and sizes and even colors from .30 cents and up. I will soon make a decision as to which replacement windows will be installed in my 76 year old Tudor-style home. I like Certainteed's Bryn Mawr II windows with the Prism Grids. Prism Grid is a 3M Accentrim tape that is permanently bonded between the double-pane glass unit and creates a look of beveled glass. It suppossedly has been tested to resist shrinkage, discoloration, and delamination and is guaranteed for 20 years. I love the look; but, I'm hesitant to go with it. Has anyone had any experience with Prism Grid or heard or read anything about it's pros or cons?

I am not a wilting flower in the least but when the dr is pressing me to answer and I am struggling to see, my anxiety sky rockets. I get intimidated. A good dr OR tech understands this and works with you. They don't care if you exceed the time allotted for the "average" person.
