I got big empty icing buckets from Winn Dixie's bakery department and use them as rain barrel or use them to store the vegetables washed water. I cut the hole in the milk bottle to get water from the icing buckets and water the vegetables or plants.

That was kind of you to remind people. I pot up a couple hundred every spring and give them to various plant sale fundraisers - Master Gardeners, local garden club, Grange, Library, school, etc. They always sell well and raise a lot of money for different causes. I also give them away to friends and family. But it is a lot of work and I can see why it would be easier to just toss them on the compost pile. I sometimes do that for some common plants.

I have TONS! :) Some are minor scraps left over from cutting yoyo's out of fat quarters while other scraps are more significant (like strips for a zig zag quilt). What would you be interested in? Very interested in the hostas and the flower sounds interesting as well - not sure how they would be shipped however. Let me know if you are interested. Thank you Hannah

Compost tea for a win here they perked right up and are just as pretty as can be. Angie
