Hi Dot, Love in a Mist is an annual that reseeds and I just love it. It's so airy and delicate that any sprouts that you don't want, they pull so very easily. I usually just let them grow at will. They are Nigella. You can search on either. I'd post some more pics showing the beautiful seed pods, but my other computer is dead and until I get it fixed my last year photos and before are also dead. Send me an email, please.. This thread WANTS to live! :) I brought the tortilla rollups. They couldn't be easier (though they are better with a spicier and less "chunky" sauce; I tried a new salsa and it was both too mild and too chunky for the recipe). Here's the recipe (not kidding when I say it's easy -- the key is to plan ahead because they really do need at least 24 hours to chill, preferably a couple of days) ... TORTILLA ROLLUPS 6-8 large flour tortillas 1 large tub soft cream cheese One 4 oz. can diced green chilies One 4 oz. can chopped black olives 2 tb. chopped green onions Mix all ingredients and spread on tortillas (don't spread right up to edge). Roll neatly and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for several days. Slice and serve with salsa or picquante sauce. ----------------------------- Today's rain is perfect for all my new additions -- thanks again to everyone!

HI Mark! Na I planted 6 large and medium size varieties and the grandsons and daughter mixes them all up when picked. I'll list the varieties here. 1. Moreton Hybrid F1 (small-medium variety)70 day indeterminant (Harris Seed Co exclusive) 5. Jet Star (small-medium variety) 75 day indeterminant (low acid?)(Harris Seed Co.) 6. Supersonic (medium size)78 day indeterminant (Harris Seed Co.) All these tomatoes are similar in taste and texture when grown in the soil where I live. Its a clay base heavy soil. I use peat moss and worm castings as soil amendiments. No chemicals. I water with treated Lake Onterio Water and of course rain. I have had no disease problems to speak of and am luckey so far. My wife as she processes the harvest she mixes all the different up. what she grabs is whats in the jar/freezer bag. larry

Dear, sweet, Moni...go sit in the corner - now! and just stay there until I have something growing, say in mid-May. My wind chill is -17. I just came in to warm up from shoveling a thin but demonic mix of snow, sleet, and frozen carp off of the front deck -again. I have to clear off a small table out there so I can indulge the yellow-shafted flicker. He thinks he's too good to eat from four suet feeders, three black-oil sunflower seed feeders, and one pellet feeder all hung in the tree. Nope, he wants to eat BOSS and crumbled suet from the tray on the deck table. He was sitting on the rim of the ice-crusted tray, about 7' from my chair, giving me the Evil Eye so I'll hurry out to clear it. And I did. Sigh. Those are lovely buds; enjoy!
