Painted!!! these coffee pots came out of the trash, and old aluminum pots were never the same. We had a blast. I turned the one on the left into a little lamp.

Our soil was once rocky mountain clay and now it is clay loam, I think in part because I gave away the tiller a few years ago. We use a lot of wood chips and sawdust as pathway mulch, and they host very happy soil-enriching fungi that do better with hand cultivation. You can use a broadfork to aerate soil without tilling it, very handy to have around. When I need to plant in wet soil, I mix organic fertilizer into compost, place it in the bottom of a planting hole, and set the seedling over it. They like it!

The problem with those "Yellow Ones" is they may be yellow toned gf or they could be golden ofre. I place some WH in my pond back in April and my koi went to business. The thousands eggs produces and collected dropped to hundreds to tens from conditions. I took the survivors from my outside nursery and placed them into my indoor tank. Of the 50 that I have, I have to say that 35 are golden ofre, 10 are unknowns at this time, and only 5 are "pond quality" koi. Prior to my love fest I had netted "all" gf out and had done a Potast. Perm. (PP) treatment on my pond. I think the ofre eggs came in on the plants (note to self - do not introduce untreated plants to pond.

There often can be some of your material that has the appearance of a piece of something that has been burned and it has and that is called "flash". There are some people that have not seen that and consequently deny this will occur, just because of lack of experience. Many of these same people have denied spontaneous combustion can occur in a compost pile, in spite of repeated news stories to the contrary, again due to lack of experience. Fungi may inhabit your compost pile and may digest some of the material there but will not leave that material looking like it has been burned, that only happens when the material has been burned, when flash has occured.

Pam! I am great.... and busy...ha ha.....sorry about the pic, it was there when I posted...LOL the ole disappearing trick again...I am workin on a safari theme in the basement and making bookpurses and cabinets out of doors. Other than that, am waiting for spring.......LOL

Those are really nice. I was getting the dreaded red x. I right clicked and hit properties, then had to write down address and type in as my puter wouldn't let me copy and paste. Now the picture is showing up for me. Some things I just don't understand about computers. alwell. Thanks for the picture. Conni :)

Yes, ya all, that is an old dollhouse, I got off the curb. I had it on top of fridge during xmas and just removed it the other day. It is in pretty good shape. I have a wooden one upstairs. Why do the pics turn up sometimes and not another???waaaaaaaaasorry gals
