I had one made out oak 6 foot wide a lot room and sleeper are napper with big pillow. Very costly wind chm low tone. Its out in weather 16 foot post and long chains makes good cruiser used about 2 hours aday good weather. Setting in there yesterday late watching hummingbird working in butter fly bush lol. The smell Carolina jasmine come by swing from half way across yard. Pick hand full sugar snap sweet peas for green snack. I enjoy my swing.

Excellent job. We got rid of ours this year,had it for a number of years and i had already replaced the top several years ago.The fabric on the seat still had some life left in it,also sunbrella,but because we live close to the ocean the frame had rusted and one of the legs broke off part of the way.So yesterday i salvaged part of the seat fabric and recovered a cushion on a bench we have on the front porch.I'm all for recycling whenever i can. You got a good buy on your fabric,when i bought mine several years ago i paid 14.99 a yard,and that's the going price around here ,unless you have a coupon and joann's is having a sale.Although they never have the color/pattern i'm looking for,so i go to an upholstery outlet. Yeah for Craigslist ! I found a ton of things but only one really was perfect. They use reclaimed heart pine which is perfect for my house. Thank you bird lover...and everyone for your suggestions. I also found someone that makes great backyard swing/climbing sets ...so hopefully Grand baby will have a treat come Dec. c

Hi Danielle, yes we do this on the same day most of the time... the basement, the garage and the pad for the front porch stair support. If you see in the picture there is a pad for the stair already formed and ready for concrete. If it's a very large basement, the garage and the pad can be done the next day, but if the mason company has 3-4 guys, they will do it in one day. The weather also plays a big role, if it's very hot and humid concrete sets fast, if that the case some companies will stretch it into 2 days. The top of the porch slab is done at the very end, usually when driveway and walkways being done. Good luck
