Remember several of you recently had trouble getting orders from Stained Glass Warehouse. I'm posting an email I received from them today, explaining their recent troubles. I feel so sorry for them, and am posting their email to me. I sent a thank you, and said I wouldn't hesitate to order from them in the future, should I need to order supplies. Begin email:

> below is the email sent to everyone last week.... just in case you missed

> THE ATTEMPT TO RUIN A BUSINESS AND ITS REPUTATION

>

> Starting in January of this year, internal attemps were successfully made to

> sabotage Stained Glass Warehouse, Inc. Some of the acts commited follows:

>

> 1. Approximately $40,000 worth of inventory was removed from the warehouse

> for the personal gain of one of the employees.

>

> 2. Approximately $30,000 in credit card charges were made into an account

> not in any way related to Stained Glass Warehouse. Specifically, they were

> redircted to a recently established business called Asheville Art Glass. If

> any of you have noticed this name in your list of credit card charges,

> please let us know immediately with your order number and the amount. At

> the same time, we would suggest that you immediately contact your bank and

> request a chargeback of any charges you may see to Asheville Art Glass since

> you never placed an order with them.

>

> 3. During most of this time, phone calls and emails from customer were

> basically ignored no matter how many times the asked for help with their

> orders. we generally receive 300 emails a day. None of the emails going

> back to February 5th had even been opened, much less answered. All emails

> prior to that had conveniently disappeared including the Deleted file

> itself. In the past. we ALWAYS stressed that an ignored customer will soon

> become the competitors customer. That will be the basis on which we conduct

> all future business.

>

> 4. Hundreds of customers have had their credit cards charged for their

> orders and then the orders disappeared at Stained Glass Warehouse ( we found

> most them eventually) and never got filled. Also, some customers were

> charged for their full order, but were only shipped a partial order. These

> practices have never been condoned or considered acceptable to Stained Glass

> Warehouse. Our policy had always been to NEVER charge a customer until the

> order was ready to be shipped.

>

> As a result of all this, all employess of Stained Glass Warehouse, Inc as of

> March 5, 2007, no longer work here. The original owner, the undersigned,

> has resumed control and full management of this business after being away

> from it for almost two years. We hope to be able to build Stained Glass

> Warehouse back up to its former prominence in the stained glass industry,

> but must first deal with trying to figure out what to do with orders that

> are up to three months old.

>

> WHAT WILL NOW HAPPEN TO STAINED GLASS WAREHOUSE?

>

> First and foremost, Stained Glass Warehouse is not going off the radar

> screen because of this. We will be somewhat invisible for the next few

> weeks as we reorganize things, hire and train new employess, and generally

> figure out what happened with everyones orders. PLEASE KNOW, however, that

> everyone will get refunds where they are due. This is my personal guarantee

> to each and every one of you, even if it has to come out of my own pocket.

>

> We will maintain a low profile until about the first of April. After that

> we should be ready to start taking care of our customers ther way we use to

> prior to mid-2005.
