Comments (8)I'm not sure why you've found it so difficult to find lines that carry painted cabinets??? I can't think of a manufacturer of cabinets that DOESN'T offer them? Where I work we sell all Masterbrand cabinets. Diamond (sold other places as Schrok or Kemper), Decora, Kitchencraft. They all have plenty of painted options. Even our entry level line - Aristokraft - offers paint as of last month. Kraftmaid sells painted cabinets. Showplace Wood. The list goes on and on......See Morethermofoil cabinets?
Comments (5)Hi - we're replacing a 3-year old (yes, three...) thermofoil kitchen with painted MDF. We dropped a pot lid and it ran down the front of the cabinet - it literally gouged out a large piece and cannot be repaired. The door on the sink base was peeling from moisture. Some parts of the kitchen (ie/ crown, light valence) was a completely different colour even though ordered the same (often trim is done in wood and will look completely different despite what they tell you... ours was HD brand, same with Mills Pride, Kraftmaid). Our Mills Pride kitchen at the cottage had the bottom of the sink base peel and bubble in the first month. We were extra careful about water, but just normal use... I am so disappointed in the quality of both kitchens. We are going with painted MDF which averages 10-20% more - well worth it to me... Good luck with your decision - keep us posted! Cheryl...See MoreKraftMaid Cabinets vs Wolf Cabinets
Comments (5)Not sure if you read this past post on Wolf quality but the opinions mostly say the quality is not that great. I have had my oak KM cabinets for 20+ years and actually just completed a redo and kept them and they still look great. Haven't had one problem with drawer glides etc. and do remember they were about $3600 back then. :) My advise would be to go with KM and get the best level you can stretch to and you will have them for many years.
