Thanks everyone. I don't have too many of the ruffley, new daylilies. A couple I do have seem to be having major problems opening up, I hope that is something that will change as they get used to their home, but I got them last fall. Debra, I am liking those peach ones too. At first I was looking for pink & was disappointed, & spent the last couple of years trying to get a few nice pinks. This was just such a perfect bloom. Lala, you are so funny :) I'm already dreading the end of my bloom after reading that Kay is seeing fewer blooms. I love my 50 cent daylilies, although they are common ones. I bought 6 others, including what is supposed to be Pandora's Box & Wild Mustang. The others had no tags at all, pretty sure that at least one is another Custard Candy. They also had Moonlit Masquerade & Double River Wye. Already had MM & Pandora's box, but that's ok, I like both enough for 50 cents :) Neither Pandora's Box or WMustang have scapes. I think WM is a later blooming daylily, but PB should have scapes I would think. Just a wait & see game!

Thank you all for the lovely comments :). OA: The wedding was held at a friend of ours 70 acre gated estate. It's a complete castle style complex of over a football field in size with his private residence tucked into the center. His young daughter Lacey had always dreamed of living in a castle and he promised to build her one but she got sick, suffered a toxic reaction to the medication and passed away in Jan 1987. In honoring what she had always wanted, he started working on it in 1988 and laid each rock hand by hand until it was completed. Now , it is a foundation commited to preserving & allowing the return of the indigenous spieces. He serves now as a wildlife management area, improving habitat, and aid in research studys, environmental issues, and wildlife habitat conservation. A truly peaceful and lovely place completely untouched by building highways,subdivisions ect.

Karlene, Lovely pictures! You all look so beautiful! It is good see see that you can still smile (is that relief?) Our DS is getting married November 23 - in the mountains. He said they will have an outside ceremony if it is 45ð or above, otherwise the venue has an indoor set up. I joked that his fiance might want to consider long underwear under her dress! I hope I can still smile when it is all said and done! Sue
