My daughter bought all her appliances at Reno's and was very happy with Joe, her salesperson. I've been looking there for over a year and am not crazy about the salesperson, Guy, who has been following us - he's gotten a little too territorial. I plan to make an appointment with the store manager next time I go in because I need another opinion. Everybody agrees that Reno's is a reliable, good place to deal with. The GC's and KD's like to deal through Karl's but I haven't yet found a salesperson who knows anything. My KD recommended Oberg & Lindquist in Westwood, NJ and the salesperson, Cat, is a sweetheart. But they don't carry JennAir or Electrolux, so I feel they are limited. She highly touts KitchenAid. Gold Coast Appliances in Greenvale,(Long Island) NY - about 40 min from the GW Bridge, is small but carries every brand and Jessica, who waited on us, spent hours and was extremely knowledgeable. Once we make our decisions, they will be in the final running. They are a family business.

Maybe call the nearest certainteed distributor. Ask for for the manager or outside sales. Tell em your needs.

Rather than repeat a few that have already been mentioned, there are a few others I've dealt with that I absolutely love: Sinks Gallery - These guys have the largest array of sinks I have seen anywhere. ...and not your typical selection that you find at big box stores, Espray or even plumbing showrooms. Their customer service is outstanding. Copper Sinks Online - I've sung their praises before. I believe they have other websites for stone and glass as well. I see a few posts about Ebay, but here is my $0.02 on that. To say "Ebay is great - check out sinks/lighting there" doesn't consider that Ebay is really only like a "mall". There are countless different sellers that range from borderline fraudulant to excellent. I have found that the ratings don't always ensure a good experience... Personally for things like fixtures, I prefer to shop local or with a few larger online companies that can afford to have their own websites, real people to answer the phone and provide some semblance of customer service, etc. (like the ones I've mentioned above).

This table is made by an Amish manufacturer named The Country Woodshop, the table is named "Carlisle Shaker" and it is on page 44 of their catalog. Your best bet for buying may be to look locally for a store that carries solid wood furniture and ask if they carry the line and you can look it up in their catalog for a special order. You can see the wood and stain options (most Amish manufacturers have a long list of options and combinations that can be made to order). Your price may not include freight or shipping that way, and then you can go back to the store easily in the rare chance that you have any problems or issues, they will take care of being the in-between for you and the Amish company and will make things right. When I zoom in on the photo from the catalog, it looks like it may be a printing/pixel issue - I can't imagine a wood variation causing such small triangles and is seems to random to be a decorative addition to the piece.
