Probably wasn't the best time for me to start posting here again when my DD came to visit these past few days and I didn't have time to get back and respond to all your wonderful compliments! Although we love the Inspiration Albums you create and I'm honoured that you put some of my pics in them, we are totally understanding of how much time and effort it takes to organize them. After I bought the snowflake hurricanes, I did have second thoughts as they are more "season limited" with the snowflakes on them and storage is getting limited around here. The silver branches are just stuck into the centerpiece wreath. I originally bought them with the intention of having them in a vase in the center, kind of overflowing like champagne but they were way too tall and clear sight-lines are always an obsession of mine. Thank you ladies...I'm glad everyone was in agreement on the Tablecloth.. Punk..I just changed the setting on the camera to get the different lighting effect. Jeanne..I'm amazed you rememberd those red dishes I got last summer! I finially got to use them...lol yachter...I've said this before...CTS could be on it's way to your town as I write!! lol...They are branching out all over...keep checking their web site...ya never know! OA..You're right.. I wasn't in the market for a 'Cupid T/C'..but that's when you find things...When you're NOT looking! Frou...the Walmart Velvet Roses actually look better IRL. I try to buy faux florals that look the closest to real as possible. Nana..I find that CTS will carry most of the same things...but they also will have something Different from ea other. I usually shop EVERY one on Cape Cod when I'm there in the Summer..and had found that out. I think they do that on purpose. lovemydishes..I don't think I welcomed you. I thought the same thing about the Tablecloth when I first saw it. In fact I picked it up and put it down several times because I felt that way. Glad I decided to go for it. I like the green too but DD has an aversion to it. I'm starting to picture white rustic urns with white or crisp light lavender linens. I hope she allows green grapes in the arrangement at least. To answer Lesmis, the wedding is in June and the venue is an estate that was turned into a golf/country club. A rental company has plum stemware we can rent or plum glass chargers. We might splurge on those. Thanks for the suggestions. If anyone has any other ideas about linens I'm all ears.

Hi, I just found this site while browsing around GW. I am usually on the Home Decorating forum here at GW. I've already found wonderful ideas just from reading the first page of T2T! As for Large bowls/Platters---if you garden, you can drill a small drainage hole in the bottom, glue a terra cotta plant saucer to an upside down candle holder and then put the bowl with plants on top. I just finished doing this with some Found & GoodWill candle holders. I have some larger mis-matched serving bowls and platters and I've run out of space inside so had to find a way to use them outside. Once painted, I'll place some of the drilled serving bowls on top of the clay saucers and fill them with pretty colored plants. A grouping of pretty mis-matched bowls with plants---just an idea. I haven't gotten around to painting mine yet but here's an example that might help you with your serving bowls. ------------------ These are clay saucers glued to the top of 'pillars' I had stored in the garage rafters. These are the Free and Goodwill candle stands, saucers glued on top.
