PAINTERGIRL!!!!! I got my paints in the mail, and gave it a shot today. I am VERY happy with how those hinges turned out!! They were shiny brass plate, but I stripped that off, and underneath they were a sort of cheap tinny silver colored base metal. I found a set of vintage brass pulls, so I wanted them to match. Looky what I did: I used a mix of brown, black, gold, and copper for the base coat, then mixed some black and brown for the edges and recessed areas. I am just so pleased with how it matches the pulls I can't hardly stand it! Here's a peek at the appliques with the glaze: Like I said, it turned out really subtle, but that's ok. I'm afraid if I'd gone darker, it would have been a mess. I got the chandelier back, still need to rehang some sheers and have some mirrors cut. This is a crazy week, but I hope to have pics of the finished room by next week.

Not sure if this helps, but I found this on the BM web site....http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/cc-210 I'm a little OCD when it comes to paint colors and generally will get a sample mixed up and put it on a large piece of poster board to see how it looks in the room and at different times of the day. I just discovered my local Ace H'ware store will mix up a paint can of any color for about $5.00.

I guess the websites have to categorize fixtures somehow, but never pay any attention to the category they've been put in. Much like people! :) I use what is traditionally an island fixture over peoples tables on a regular basis. I also use 2 or 3 pendants sometimes over table. Yes, I am a Lighting Consultant by trade. :)

* The 2 BM Colorants are the same. * Depending on their Software, & Label design-format, Formulas print out differently. * These Label pictures don't display the Paint-Line that's used....? * If the 2nd pic is Regal, AND it was RE-scanned for that Line, that usually explains the Colorant amounts seeming "Out of Ratio".
