Looking again at the Forums page, I think the Subject Areas should be left for use by occasional visitors who need to know what's available on Garden Web. For frequent users who want to get to a forum quickly, you need a comprehensive list that doesn't involve a lengthy scroll. In my case I check "Building a Home", "New England Gardening" and "Soil, Compost and Mulch" every day, so these appear on my bookmarks menu along with the "Garden Webs Forum" page (and some non-GW sites). If there's something interesting going on in a particular forum I'll keep a tab open for that forum. I avoid using the main Forums page because it's annoying to have to scroll down. Claire

The last day of school is June 5 here, but they could hold it over the summer for us. If you would like me to send a SASE, then please send me an e-mail and I would be glad to send it. I will also check our local freecycle group here in Allen. I hadn't thought of that. I do save quite a few native seeds too and have a bunch of bluebonnet seed that I need to scatter. It should cover a small area. Our meadow is about 1/4 acre. We are going to get in there this summer and remove some small trees that have sprouted along with some bunches of Johnsongrass which I know is hard to kill, so may end up using Roundup or something similar.

This post has been up here for months and while I dont have or use publisher I will do my best to explain what's going on here. Those fancy web editors often save an entire site in a format that enables the user to edit what they see on the screen and end up with exactly that. So when you go to save a site in a program like publisher, you're more than likely saving the whole site as a single publisher file which is different from an .html file. There is also likely a choice for you to export your site, content, images and all the html pages and it should do so in a folder containing everything that you would simply upload to your site. Now one common problem with this is if your links specify to look in a certain directory for another file, if you wind up changing the location of the files, the links will not work. To correct this, change the location that the links and images source to. I k now it's been forever ad you probably figured this out by now but in case anyone else is wondering.
