A local pick-your-own fruit farm has a zillion styro stackable towers for their strawberry crop. They use a non-soil planting mix that is fertilized with a drip down fertilized water system that lets gravity pull the solution from the top container on down to the rest. They look like strawberries and taste like strawberries, but I am skeptical as to how healthy/nutritious those fruit may be if quality is the expectation that come along when paying $5/# for berries that you pick yourself.

I am wondering about the ready made vainity tops that do not have a lip on the edges. I think they look cheap. I am needing to replace a builtin vanity in a condo, I am not doing the floor right now so I need a vanity that is the same foot print. My contractor is steering me to a ready made vanity with top. But the thin tops that go right to the edge of the vanity look cheap, even if I add a side and back splash

If you are flexible with size and some finish choices - pre-made may be less of a headache (as you wouldn't need to coordinate too many things - cabinets, top, sink, pulls/knobs, faucet, ...)
