First today for Tuesday Tea

Raining here and I have the day off. Planning to go shopping and do errands. I am looking at my can of Dragon Oolong tea from Republic of Tea that was given to me as a gift. I am going to try to to see if I can find another can. Not easy as not all stores carry this brand, or if they do not necessarily this one.

Bright and clear here, and so nice and cool. Still only 73 degrees at almost 10am. I love fall weather.

I wish I could say I am drinking a fresh and exotic tea, but I am still on liquid breakfast, so I am sitting here with a bottle of Ensure, just a little old lady. lol

My oldest is moving back home for awhile so I need to get up and start making room for her. I hope everyone has a great day.

Hi all! Sorry, I've been a bit absent, but it's been a tough couple of weeks. My husband's friend passed away (he had lived down in California the past 10 years) and my BIL was in the hospital. He went in for an infection, caused by a poke from a 'stake' sprinkler and ended up with pneumonia! His daughter (my niece) is 12 and we ended up driving in a lot to see him and spend time with her.

So, things are finally calming down a bit and I went out to check on my fairy garden, this evening. Weeds everywhere! I went a bit 'crazy' and pulled weeds for half an hour, making a huge pile all along the grass path. What a mess, but my husband said he'll help me rake it up, tomorrow. He's such a nice guy :)

Marti- I'm glad to see that cooler, fall weather has arrived for you. It must be wonderful, after all that heat!

Ellendi- Thank you so much for starting the post. I hope you find your tea...it sounds very exotic! It's fun to get together to visit and I'm so glad everyone is enjoying 'tea'. We also get together on Thursdays, over on the cottage garden forum (conversations side) if anyone wants to stop by. Have a wonderful week!

Oh, my is it time for Thursday Tea again already? I better get the kettle on. Sure need something to warm me up. I fell asleep in the chair awhile ago in front of the window with the sun beaming through, but my arms were cold when I woke up. I had the black and white checked throw over my lap. I think I'll go down to the bakery and find something special for today. Yorkshire Gold will be my choice of tea. I bought another tea cup on Ebay yesterday! It was on a whim, totally not necessary; but it's "Bluebell Wood" by Royal Albert, one in their Country Scenes collection. My birthday is in May, so I'll justify it as being an early gift to myself. :) Well, I'm headed to the bakery, might pick up something at the market for supper as well. Glad you got your sweet peas planted, Lass. I have a feeling my garden will go in late this year.

This morning I drove my Stepdad and Mom to a flea market about an hour away, he doesn't like to drive in heavy freeway traffic anymore; and none of us had been to the place before so he was afraid of getting lost. Well, we made it and look what I found. Isn't it cute? It's either a head of lettuce or cabbage and has a small butterfly on the lid - only $6! I had to have it. If only I would have remembered Thursday Tea when I got home in the afternoon.

Muraysmom your quilt is so pretty. did you make it? Jay what a great ditcher. They make life so much easier. LL I tried to like your FB page but it was not available at the time. Will try again later. Here is Lizzzie waiting for grout. She is very hard to photo because she is so big and curved. And in this photo I cut off the end of her tail I have grouted her now and still working on the tedious clean up. I used a lot of textured glass and beads and oddities for interest. And you all know me and my crazy colors. LOL I have an phone that works through the internet and I had to upgrade it and then uninstall re-install and fight with it for two days and finally I got a tip from a great forum about these phones and the tip worked. Then hubby has been whining his computer was not running well so I had to deal with it. GAH On top of learning my new little tablet I am overwhelmed with electronics. I am in no way a geek and just dang lucky to keep our machines running. So back to grout picking and dream up some thing for dinner. I got lunch three hours ago so I am not hungry. But Hubby is and that is a good thing.

Elleni, not sure but you might wish to check Amazon for that tea. They carry lots of different teas.

I've been busy this week with my new android phone. The tips of my fingers are a little sore too. But I am happy with it.
