Just had to share...

I'm usually just a lurker, but I just had to share. Yesterday I went to my first crop/convention. I wish I would have done it sooner. My best friend and I went and we had a blast. They gave away so many cool door prizes that I got my ten dollars back and then some. I finally got to work on my album without my boys interrupting and got 6 pages done. For anyone who is thinking about going to a crop or convention, I would highly recommend it. Thanks for listening. Tammy

Yay! A good mail day! Strangely enough I have 3 things to mail out to friends today so I will go do that thinking about happy mail. I didn't mail order any flowers this year. I started thinking about it in July but it's been so incredibly hot and dry I'm glad I changed my mind. We got a little bit of rain today and it evaporated as it hit my brick patio. :0

I heard about it on our local birding email list. The homeowner was very generous in letting people come over and see it. For many people it was a life bird. They're usually hard to see because of their small size and because they aren't often seen out in the open. So it was fun to get this opportunity very close to home. Now if only it would fly a few miles to my house so I could get a cool new yard bird!

Thanks everyone! He totally loves it! It is a doggie bed but has like a cover over the top so they can "burrow" like the do under the blankets as dashies love to burrow under covers....He since he still can't jump on the furniture next to me like they can uses this all the time! Stacy

What an adventure! You'll have to tell the bride and groom the story, so they will have a first memory to go with it (especially the part about finding the fabric in the store that you'd run out of!!). I also totally understand. I always underestimate myself on times. It's a lot like a construction project, add 30% for time and budget!
