has anyone ever used these on pages?

Has anyone ever heard of using those glass flat marbles on your pages. I think they would look cool over letters or as bubbles but am not sure what kind of adhesive to use.

The type that I used were actually plastic and had an adhesive on them. My guess would be to use Scrappy glue from Magic Scraps. I love that stuff! It holds things down well, dries quickly and clear. I use the Scrappy Glue on Shaker boxes all the time and never had a leak of beads like I have with some of the other glues.

I just bought some. They are called "Page Pebbles" and can be found at most scrapbook stores and I have even seen them at WalMart in the crafts section. They already have the adhesive on them and are great for calling attention to a specific part of your pictures. HTH

i have had nothing but issues with this product! i have had the company i purchased the product from come out, months with no answers, finally got a company rep out to review the product in my house....still no answers back from the manufacturer! my house humidity is around 32%-37% totally within canadian home builder standards, not to mention the product is sold as 100% water proof?? how is that possible when they are concerned about humidity that has been proven by the rep not to exceed industry specs??

Has anyone ever used an alarm or lock on a door?

A flip lock might m not be allowed in the building. Management or emergency personnel need to be able to get in. A chain would work and be accessible from outside (install it vertically), but still they might not allow installation. We put child covers on doors at my mom's, but in an independent living they may have levers instead of knobs. A bell on the door should help. Like a strip of jingle bells. But, they have to be loud enough to wake her husband. And not removable by her.

Thank you. Of course I realize there are different brands and color will vary. This is actually the second kitchen I’m re-doing, so not my first rodeo. I should have specified asking if people could also share the name they used so I can get an idea. Some posters could be nicer about it. In any case, just trying to get an idea, not an EXACT picture here, as I understand even kitchen lighting, natural light, and camera will play a part in the space. Thanks to the poster that shared a pic!
