So glad you posted this. I will have to see if it is available here in Austin yet as I've been wanting something that looks like white marble (but is tougher) for my bathrooms. I'll post a picture if they have anything larger than one of those tiny little tiles that I can look at. Even if all they have is a tiny tile, I'll try to let you know whether I think it looks similar enough to white marble to "pass" or just looks sort of cheesy. I'm using Silestone in the Amarillo Palmira color in my kitchen and will probably stick with that there b/c I don't think DH would like white countertops in the kitchen. I fell in love with monte bello after seeing it in gretal7's kitchen a few years back. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it. She said it had a little bit of olive in it. I really loved it. If you found it that's great. Where are you located? It is the granite on the island. I goggled monte bello granite garden web and found it in someone's clippings.Scroll down halfway in the link. We used Lyra for our island. Just do a search for thread with Quartz in its name and my finished kitchen pic thread will pop up. It takes awhile to open due to the size of the pics...sorry. But, the background is a soft, creamy white, not gray. We absolutely love it! Let me know if you cant find it or want some more pics.

Some of my favorite meals have been prepped and cooked in the galley kitchen of a 27ft sailboat. I think any small kitchen should take tips from boat or rv kitchens. Altho compact planning and proper stowing is key! A small kitchen needs an organized user and benefits from meal planning. A cook who uses mostly fresh ingredients for not much room for frozen and canned produce to be stowed. Also 1 dish meal recipes are a great idea for smaller kitchens they need less tools and are less clean up.
