I have only done one. It was for an Easter Egg Hunt layout. I took pictures from an Easter Bunny colouring book, and have the bunnies carrying big eggs (which are the kids' pictures cut out in that shape) It really looks terrific I think, and am really pleased with it. The colouring book option is probably the cheapest way to go!

I do paper piecing a lot. My favorites are teddy bears. I use these a lot with my grandkids pictures.

I tried my first piece this weekend! We had visited Ft. William Henry in Lake George and I was really stumped for die cuts/stickers (there aren't a lot of cannon stickers available. :) So, I paper pieced a little log cabin. I just cut brown paper into strips and then used my corner rounder to make then ends look rounded. I layered them, added a little roof and a door and there it was. I put a little chimney on it with some smoke coming out and I had a little cabin. It came out pretty cute! I definitely need to add some dimension, either with chalks or colored pencils. It's pretty blah right now.

I haven't tried anything yet. I plan to though. I have entered a scrapbook "challenge" on another board and part of the challenge is to try different techniques. Went and bought a paper crimper (didn't turn out to bad), colored pencils and just ordered some chalks. In for all types of new things this month!

I don't know if you consider this paper piecing, but I made a snowman out of circles. I would love to paper piece. How do you use a coloring book to do it? Thanks!

I did one of Pooh out of a coloring book. It turned out better then I thought it would. Jan, you just trace around the picture (in pieces) and then cut each piece out an put it on whatever color papers you want and then cut it out and piece together to look like the picture. Hope this makes sense. I know I am probably doing to much cutting for one picture so if anyone has any ideas for me let me know. I would love to cut the time in half. TIA Rhonda
