Wow! The cuttings look great everyone. I feel like I missed so much stuff going on because I wasn't on very much over the holidays. My cuttings are doing well for the most part (will post pics when i get a chance. I potted some of mine up the other day in a different kind of soil...it didn't turn a light color when it was dry like my other soil I used.. so I would have killed all my cuttings if I hadn't checked the soil with my finger today. But no harm was done and most cuttings have leaves or are starting to grow some. Only one that looks bad is one of the cuttings I took of my NOID white.

Sorry Reba I just realised I misunderstood the question - DOH! You want the clicked picture smaller? OK here's directions to do it in Paintshop. File - open - find file you want eg: doll.jpg Image - resize - Pixel size(top box) Make your biggest measurement about 250 pixels. **Make sure the "maintain aspect ratio" is ticked (bottom of box)** Click OK File - export - jpeg optimizer You'll see two windows of your image one shows it uncompressed the 2nd shows the image compressed this is what you will be showing on the webpage. Set compression value as high as possible without losing picture quality - try to stay under 25,000 bytes. Click OK Save. Now it should be a good size for people to view and will load quite fast and is ready to be put on your webpage and made into a thumbnail. Good Luck. Sue :)

Is this a webpage that is on your hard drive? Or is it a webpage space provided by a host on a remote computer(remote means a different computer than yours). If the webpage is on your hard drive, i would make a folder under "C" and call it html. Then in the folder put your html document and all related files including pictures. When you open your browser and click file/open and browse to the html folder and click the html document you will see the webpage. The coding should look like this on your webpage if every file related to the page is in html folder. (img src="8loopy.jpg") It is not good to use any caps in file names or extensions with html files. Many webspace hosts do not allow CAPS. Some Unix host puters wont even read caps in file extensions so the picture doesnt show on your webpage. All you get is a blank space with a red X in the corner. If this html file is on a server then you need to put the image in the same folder on the server and use the same coding on the webpage. you CANNOT call for a picture on your computer from your webpage on a host computer. Get a free FTP program and learn how to use it to transfer your files to the webpage space on the host server. JamesS

While I'd love to add all sorts of "useful" threads, there comes a point where I have to say no...I cannot link every thread here! This thread already is overloaded with things and adding more will only make it worse. I suggest that if you find a thread particularly helpful that you bookmark it. Then, if someone posts a thread asking for help that one of your bookmarked threads fits, link it in that thread. Besides, for many things it's nice to get a new thread b/c new ideas & people are around that can be captured in a new thread. Old threads are great for "how tos" and things that don't really change over time, but for appliances, etc., it's a good idea to get new, more up-to-date information periodically.
