Well, "hey ya'll!" I should have checked in and picked up my wonderful greetings! I should have known that if Teresa (birthday fairy) sent me greetings by email she would have done the same here!!!! I'm back for just a 'drive by' because we are heading for Florida next week, to be gone for up to three weeks. I'm kinda nervous about leaving my hosta at this time of the year!!! Happy Birthday David! Are you baking your birthday cake? If so, what kind? I was going to bake myself something for my own birthday dinner tomorrow but we have to take off for Ohio. Maybe a week from tomorrow I'll finally get my B-day dinner...LOL...no biggie. Nancy

Hi Everyone and Thank-you for the birthday wishes. Alas I wore plain old jeans and t-shirt out with some sht stomper boots. Local gals and friends were out in force to celebrate with me. My second favorite bar kept 3 drinks in front of me until I said enuf. Favorite bar fed me and sent me on my way home. As FB friends know I put a solid state drive in my computer. That was my present to myself... in addition to the whole week off work! Yup been living the easy life this week. Computer boots up in a few seconds now... speedy! Intel 520... about a $1 a Gig and fairly easy to install. Last week of rabbit season here in Michigan and a fine fat buck rabbit hopped out and offered to be my dinner... he was a little tough from age but tasted fine. Got a broth simmering from the ribs... probably gravy and dumplings later tonight. Kitties joined the party when I plopped a 12oz can of tunafish on their plate. You should have seen their eyes pop! Lots of purring and paw licking after that feast. A week long party... Ashley Monroe on the stereo at the moment... you might know her from the Pistol Annies group.
